Tommie G (de) wrote: Grew up on this movie but never noticed how dry and satanic it was or how many packs of cigarettes they knocked back, definitely more in-depth and geared towards adults than the new girly kids version 31 years in the remaking.

Ray S (ru) wrote: Incredibly romantic, though not because of the activities the hero partakes in, which seems to be endless and boring-looking parties. It's just the hero is 65 years old and wears a corset yet lives life like a 25-year-old as do all his similarly aged friends. Which is refreshing and glorious--a real departure from American movies where the lives of heroes never seem to venture beyond 50 and when they do, it's always seem preoccupied with dying.

Marina N (es) wrote: The uniquely great aspect of this film is its look and feel. The greenish colors really create a raw atmosphere that fits the story. Both Keira and Mickey are good, yet don't succeed in making you care about the story and I think the story could have really made a great movie. I loved to listen to Macy Gray's "real love" when the credits rolled.

David S (kr) wrote: Its nothing special. Messy in places and don't buy the story at times. Pretty much a poor mans Minority Report

Kimberly B (it) wrote: A typical Nazi film, with the usual ber-Aryan playing the Evil Nazi part, and yet . . . not. Something about this movie is more powerful and memorable, maybe because of the excellent acting and directing. This helps the movie transcend the improbable and slightly over-wrought "love" story at the center and presents the Nazi character as both more sympathetic and yet utterly despicable than the usual. Maybe it's just that I liked the ending, even if it wasn't the one I was hoping for.Well worth watching.

Aj V (fr) wrote: Yes, it's a cheesy kids cartoon-based movie from the 80s, but it actually was really cool, the story is good and so is the animation. I enjoyed it, and I think kids today will still like it too.
