(kr) wrote: The acting in this one is horrendous. I really loved the first one and the acting in it was actually decent. They replaced Marybeth with the worst actress I have ever seen.
(kr) wrote: Kind of charming. Kind of boring. Worth it for Chiwetel Ejiofor, though.

(br) wrote: I'm not bored watching this film. It does have similar story/plot in some sci-fi film but if its still entertaining, it is worth watching. Especially if its Kaneshiro and Suzuki.
(it) wrote: The only dance movie I could remotely like. It's a real surprise to watch a dance movie that's about tapping and friendship, fights and real life and not a cheesy whimp-style chick-flick.

Sincere but uneven attempt to bring classic B&W TV series THE TWILIGHT ZONE to the big screen. Four short stories from four talented film directors generally get better as they go along, although the opening prologue with Dan Aykroyd and Albert Brooks is actually the highlight of the picture. Shockingly, the weakest short is from Spielberg. Overall the switch to color, and more explicit stories negate Rod Serling's original, stealing out the mystery and intrigue of the TV series. Mostly for the curious. Final note: the last episode, directed by Miller, is the best.
