Georgieboy M (jp) wrote: Too much melodramatic, but not the worse that i have seen.

Brett H (us) wrote: Gritty, sad, and violent, Harsh Times is an extremely personal tale of the director's that is often unpredictable and very well-acted. The gangbangers trying to get out of the dumps is not an original idea, but the way the actor's portray their characters and the situations they're in is always engaging. Christian Bale was an inspired choice to play a street-talking low-life, but he rarely disappoints when having to play intense. It can be a bit grating hearing the cussing and slang talk, but the film surprised me on multiple occasions, and that's always excellent in my book!

Lasse C (fr) wrote: In every way mediocre.

Gary S (us) wrote: Absolutely wonderful film. Judy Dench and Bob Hoskins are terrific. 4****

Ben B (br) wrote: Decent thriller with a good performance by Val Kilmer. It chugs along pretty well with it's story but the last act is nothing special.

Olli H (au) wrote: Very lame horror movie, with very minimal ammounts of horror in it. The cast was ok but the story didn't really click on the necessary working horror movie levels.

Donna D (us) wrote: Pecker is hilarious! I love his movies and dark humor. :)

Seth B (us) wrote: Very funny! I loved when Jimmy Fallon is stuck in the closet breathing the gas and getting the low voice.

Michael A (de) wrote: Au lycee, Dersou etait un de mes films preferes. Le grand Kurosawa y deploit tout son art et son admiration pour mere Nature. Un grand film sur la part des hommes, les chimeres et sur le renoncement.

Carlos M (mx) wrote: This funny, revealing and well-edited film is a must-see for fans of Nick Cave and also for those who would like to take an intimate look into an artist's creative process and motivation, even if the charm wears off fast and the doc is also stuffed with a tad too many concert scenes.
