Brett H (au) wrote: A very silly, but admirable effort from James Rolfe, whose web series, The Angry Video Game Nerd, gets the big-screen treatment that he put together through pain-staking hard work and raising the funds himself for his fans. James has always been a film supporter and to see him using his ingenuity to pull off many of the special effects in the film were impressive. The story is actually pretty funny as it centers on what's considered the worst game ever made, ET, for Atari 2600, and a government conspiracy surrounding the game's origins and even makes references to Area 51. If you're not a fan of the series, you probably won't get most of the humour and cameos, but even as a casual fan, I wouldn't watch it again as it's just too silly and juvenile. I'm proud of his accomplishment and on a technical level it's damn good for a low-budget, independent, nerd's dream!

I felt it was real the whole time, it has got that touch- and i felt so bad when the movie ended- i wanted it to go on and on. Very few movies has done that to me- probably none. My best Bollywood movie to date

My God, the song tells no lies. Yor is SO the man! Every time that score kicks in, you know he's going to do something awesome. Can you kill a giant bat with a bow and use its petrified body to sail into a cave to rescue your girlfriend? Didn't think so. Know why? 'Cause he's the freakin' man!
Evan H (fr) wrote: It's a melodramatic, yet disastrous feast! It has Susan Hayward and Bette Davis (The two reasons to see this.) The plot is far-fetched and yet addictive. It screams sex scandal, money, and DRAMA! It's really campy with such dialogue as "You're not a woman, you're a disease!" and "When you're dying of thirst, you drink fronm a mud hole". Those quotes justify that it's worth seeing! Does it make sense? Not exactly...but it's totally addictive and memorable!

Allan C (it) wrote: Cheap Italian production of a Thief of Bagdad-like story with a golden haired Tab Hunter in the lead (with a dubbed voice, which is rather disconcerting). I did like the fire monsters, but there is really not much to recommend here unless you consider yourself a huge Tab Hunter fan.
