Niall M (kr) wrote: Surreal, sensual, dreamlike, beautifully shot and scored, bathed in sepia, and with an atmosphere you could cut with a knife. Mysterious and strangely touching - but what does it all mean? It's almost the stereotypical arthouse film. Definitely one to recommend.
Stacy S (fr) wrote: I didn't like this movie because it didn't hold my attention. It's sad that Denis Leary only played this dumb character well because he acts like this in real life.
Private U (ru) wrote: Good soundtrack, nice production, the screenplay is just a love story - one from the heart. Dreamy environment, at times a bit boring.

Anna P (jp) wrote: Delightful and fun and yet it has a serous message. Ah if only we could resolve all our differences and conflicts with dancing and singing. The music is fun but... not really memorable I thought. The costumes were great. Felt that it was longer than it was... prob with all the singing.Felt much
Meaghan C (mx) wrote: Absolutely hilarious. Paul Rudd proves himself to be a leading man and not just a sidekick, and Jason Segel (who proved he can be the leading man in his hilarious movie, "Forgetting Sarah Marshall") was awesome. I laughed harder during this movie than I have in the past 5 months. I definitely recommend it.
Cameron J (ru) wrote: Al Pacino gives yet another outstanding performance as an aging actor who falls in love with his friend's daughter (Greta Gerwig), wholly making up for the dreck of "Jack and Jill". It's one of the best performances of the year so far, full of passion and wit. The film as a whole is a bit messy, with lots of interconnecting subplots, many of which we can't be certain are real or not considering Pacino's increasing insanity in the film. It's a bit like "Birdman" in that regard (and in the fact that the climactic scene involves his comeback play), though the production is a bit less technically astounding. That said, there are some very well-done long takes, my two favorites being one in a therapy session Pacino attends, and one at the vet's office after Pacino accidentally runs over Gerwig's cat's foot with his car.
