Nicki M (au) wrote: This is one I had wanted to see for a while, but I didn't actually like it that much. I don't know why, but Aubrey Plaza is always annoying, even though I generally like sarcastic/deadpan type characters. The movie drags and just doesn't live up to its potential.

Debbie P (es) wrote: Blizzard (2004) is a wonderful, wonderful Christmas film that can be enjoyed by the entire family. This movie was directed by LeVar Burton and filmed in southern Ontario, Canada. Sort of in the style of The Princess Bride, this movie begins with an beloved aunt telling her young neice a story about a little girl who befriends one of Santa's reindeers named Blizzard. Whoopi Goldberg provides the voice of Blizzard, Christopher Plummer plays a wonderful Santa Claus, and Brittany Bristow plays the main character, a lonely little girl who befriends the reindeer. Wonderful film.

The cool English teacher will even stomach it, until his students stop being enamored with poetry...then cute alligator like demons make me happy!

Lisa W (de) wrote: Love this little movie. Illustrates how the lives of many can be changed by the arrival of one. Beautiful in its simplicity, and there's something quite haunting about the American hinterland, which almost seems like a character in itself.

Brett E (mx) wrote: The acting was incredible, although the movie seemed too much like a series of countless 1-3 minute scenes after another. No scene really stuck with me too much. But actor after actor delivered - specifically Sean Penn, Emile Hirsch and James Franco. To be honest, however, I do not get the hype about Josh Brolin's performance - seemed mediocre to me.

Deena D (ca) wrote: One of the worst movies I've ever seen!!! What the hell was the message behind the movie??? NOTHING...I just wasted 1.5 hrs!
