Geoff J (gb) wrote: Enjoyable mirco budget horror, brimming with fresh ideas that raise it above many bigger movies. Worth a look.

Grant K (ca) wrote: Cook returns to what made him big in the first place - comedy. Like him or not, he can actually stand up at the mic and play to an audience. His first special "Harmful if Swallowed" was a hilarious hour of stand up that proved he had chops. The albums that followed were progressively worse and worse becoming more narcissistic and intentionally offensive and worst of all - boring. With "ISolated INcident" Cook returns to his roots. A small venue, personal yet relatable stories and some off the wall set ups. If Cook can remember to keep the comedy in his standup, he might just make a big comeback. This is good stuff.

Cynthia S (jp) wrote: Nice HBO movie. More like a regular made-for-tv movie, than the big production HBO movies that they do now. Nice to learn of this event, though. Very inspiring...

Benjamin G (es) wrote: Fabulously tense and dark spy thriller . If you enjoy the Harry Palmer movies or Le Carre then this movie is right up your street.

FilmGrinder S (ag) wrote: -The letter and a ticking clock- Bergman is a master of presenting the darker side of human nature. Each film I've seen (only a handful) has left a mark. The only thing that bothered me about THE PASSION OF ANNA was the cast interviews during the film! Artistic or not, there wasn't any need to explain the characters in the slightest, as everything is apparent. With that aside, Anna reminds me of someone close to me, minus the killing of animals and people, of course. Powerful stuff, as is all of Bergman's films that I have seen.

Sam A (es) wrote: I've read the book, which I really enjoyed, and thought would make a good film, but this was disappointing. Michael Caine plays the lead very straight, which he isn't really, and the pace is incredibly slow. It is also confusing (although so was the book), and they completely changed the second half, which didn't meet up to the book's standards.

Sylvester E (fr) wrote: My favorite film of all-time. A true treat for every movie-buff.

Katharine B (de) wrote: It works as it's intended and as a general parable of bad leadership. Every kid should sit down and have a watch of this one.

Merra M (ag) wrote: I think my favourite part in this movie is when they were just looking back and forth at each other. The Filipino term for what I felt is "kilig" and it's the term that most fits. They just looked at each other and knew that there IS something. The acting was good. Meg and Tom had chemistry, it showed.Still I felt something was lacking. A better resolution. A different. Or more elaborate or a longer ending could have been nice.

Karen M (gb) wrote: A delightful movie showing the versatile talents of Jean Reno, Christiana Applegate and Malcolm McDowell. Many critics did not give it the ratings it deserved, as it was quite enjoyable. I still watch it when I want something light hearted.
