Paul K (fr) wrote: Donnie Darko it ain't. It is an indie teen angst coming of age movie, with a cast of unknowns. It's a bit simplistic, and the characters aren't given a lot of depth; but it's entertaining enough and has a sensible central message: truth is relative. Light entertainment with a soft centre.

Arni N (es) wrote: I loved it! I had to go to the bathroom, but I couldn't miss a second of the film. This was an original. Would like to see it again to catch all the clever cuts.

Dude G (br) wrote: Never seen it never want to I have to read the book for my stupid school summer reading assignment and I hate it

Mark W (de) wrote: Not entirely factual, but terrific entertainment regardless. Stellar ensemble keeps writer/director Robbins' clever script in motion. Hard to miss with a cast this stellar and period detail so extraordinary.

Benjamin N (gb) wrote: Has some incredibly impressive elements to it. Bizarre, fascinating, over- indulgent

Taio G (au) wrote: Robert Rodriquez's greatest achievement along with planet terror. This is not a grind-house film though. It's a instant classic with great acting, classic story, and unbelievable action with Antonio banderas playing as a unforgettable bad ass with a guitar. Quentin Tarantinos cameo is priceless.
