Born Bad torrent reviews

Sam D (gb) wrote: The real problem with this movie is that the director appears to have done little research into the points he makes. For example, the shilouette of the Boeing 757 was innacurate and indeed the bottom is not actually smooth on a commercial jetliner. The documentary used a different plane to use as what a 757 should look like. Also, there was no additional information on flight 93 and whether there were possibly other planes with bombs aboard and the flight number was mixed up. There were bones, DNA, and pieces of the plane at the Pensylvania crash site- that isn't mentioned. Also, photo analysis of the planes crashing into the WTC show the United logo on the tail, that was never mentioned either. Do some research before believing this. Also, the owner of the WTC specifically said he wanted to pull the men from the building, not "pull it-" that was taken completely out of context. Finally when the building collapsing bit was shown, they used "sound effects for illustration purposes." Why the hell would they do that? For cinematic effect. This was a bogus documentary big time.

Dakotah R (ca) wrote: This documentary follows the footsteps of the Prophet Muhammad. It not only provides a good amount of detail on his life. It incorporates contemporary issues facing Islam and Islamic relations today. It was made not long after the 9/11 attacks and reflects a desire for the American people, as a whole, to know Islam, from the beginning to its current form and practice. The only thing that detracts from this documentary, in my oppinion, is that it features too much of the same people. The Muslim fireman was touching, and the nurse made good points. The Imams interviewed gave valuable information, and the chief of staff made valuable points, but having more scholars or more human interest, though it might have somewhat lengthened both production and viewing, would have provided a greater variety of individuals who belong to the greater Islamic faith. I appreciate diversity, even in a unified faith, and I thought that the documentary could have featured a bit more of it.However, there is plenty of diversity, and the detail given helps to explain the religion of Islam that we encounter today. It stems from a need to worship the One God, the need to insure justice, and the need to protect oneself and one's brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, parents, and so forth. It is a religion whose followers strive against injustice and temptation to do wrong, whose purpose is peace, not war, and whose prophet gave his followers a reference, in action, as well as many thousands of words.

Adam S (it) wrote: A gripping Secret Service thriller, "In the Line of Fire" does nowadays hold a very 90's feel to it, but this Clint Eastwood/Wolfgang Petersen collaboration is still very much an exciting and enjoyable film. Also starring John Malkovich and Rene Russo, this film works best when showing the phone call scenes between Eastwood's straight-laced no nonsense agent and John Malkovich's eccentric, psychotic assassin. The way the veteran actors bounce off of each other, using their career typecast characters to incredible effect, makes for a brilliant game of cat-and-mouse that can keep an audience on the edge of their seat. With a similarly stunning climax, this film may take a while to get going, but it is sure to get you sucked in at some point, with memorable lines and great acting.
