(es) wrote: Light comedy, for Wertmuller at least, about a man whose wife falls in love with another woman. Montesano is pretty funny in an exaggerated way and definitely carries the movie. The central conflict brings about some very humorous situations. The critic quoted below found it too heavy-handed, but I thought the thematic issues were handled well for the most part. I liked the music by Paolo Conte, though it seemed misused in some scenes.

The only other downside besides the acting,is the fact that it's not a sci-fi that holds a teenager's attention, like most old ones. Overall,ok only because of how it was made.

The make up is very good actually, but when the "wolfman" ends up donning a hat and cape, I couldn't take it seriously. My advice then is if you wish to see a werewolf in London, make it of the American breed.
(au) wrote: Other than an amazing cast, this movie falls flat. Hard to follow and boring. This movie could have been cut down by an hour.
(br) wrote: A young Mickey Rourke does a fantastic job in this one. Eric Roberts will annoy you the whole time, but that's a testament to how well he plays his part. If you hate his character, you get a big payoff: the mobsters take his thumbs. Roberts screaming about it towards the end is pure comic gold.
