Nicholas P (fr) wrote: Heart wrenching. Best ever.

Corrado G (ag) wrote: An awesome police/crime thriller, with 2 unknown leads (I love that) and a few known actors in supporting roles... There is a great pace, and a good amount of action. But never dull, the story is actually well written and the acting is top notch. Just another great film that flew under the radar and I'm glad I got to see this little gem. Highly recommended!

Ullrich M (kr) wrote: Sort of like a mix between Lolita and Romeo & Juliet. This time it plays in Marseille. The reason to watch this is the overwhelming screen presence of actrice Vahina Giocante - which you can almost feel. There's no happy ending - but a resonably believable one.

Greg W (us) wrote: Means to satirize the TV-fueled carnivalesque nature of American electoral politics but only demonstrates the TV-fueled debasement of American commercial comedy.

Caleb C (kr) wrote: The Dinos looked great in this one. Puppets rule over CGI. It had the weakest story of the 3 films, though, but I did enjoy it more than the first just for the incredibly cheesy and hilarious dialouge throughout. It is safe to say this is one the greatest B-grade trilogies ever. These films are just so bad, but it is hard not to love them if you are a fan of dinosaurs especially. These films are ones to watch with friends, though. Alone they are mostly dull, aside from the 2nd, and this one is about the dullest.

Mereie d (au) wrote: This is probably the first disaster movie I could really appreciate because it is simple enough to be realistic, yet varied and nailbitingly suspenseful enough to be an entertaining view. The accident and the damage to the plane do not seem farfetched at all, nor do the rescue attempts, the panic among the passengers (not too overdone) and the ultimate success. As usual it takes a while before the fatal incident occurs, giving us a chance to get to know the colourful palette of characters onboard (some are really priceless, like Gloria Swanson playing herself ?? how??s that for self-mockery ?? the failed actor who only took the flight to see himself in the movie shown during the flight and the partygoers trio). Melodrama (girl with kidney problem, played by Linda Blair) was not overdone, thankfully. The main focus is on the rescue attempt, which is good. When Karen Black follows the instructions, one can really feel the tension (great acting!) and almost gets the idea to learn something from these scenes just in case ? There are many more tiny moments that impressed me (for example George Kennedy losing his temper with annoying journalist), but these are too many to mention here. This is just a good disaster movie.

Jason D (ru) wrote: Scream, Blacula, Scream is the sequel to the original 70's blaxploitation cult classic Blacula about a wayward voodoo priest, Willis (Richard Lawson), who loses out on a promotion in the voodoo ranks and vows revenge on his clan by resurrecting the evil Blacula (William Marshall) to do his bidding, but such is not the case as Blacula quickly makes Willis his bitch and begins sucking the blood of several jive ass turkeys along the way, thus building an army of the cursed. The real treat here is Marshall who takes his Blacula role VERY seriously and makes this film actually very enjoyable, especially with all of the wit and charm you would expect from a smooth, black bloodsucker. Pam Grier plays Willis' rival voodoo priestess, whom Blacula needs to end his curse, but it's up to her boyfriend (Don Mitchell) to try and slay the bloodsucker. Pam Grier plays pretty much against type (from what I've seen out of her catalog) given a very female-in-distress performance rather than her usual no-nonsense tough as nails kinda chick, which is interesting to see (though I think I prefer her as the latter). Overall, if you get past the several corny 70's moments, this actually turns out to be a pretty decent vampire movie, especially given Marshall's performance, who is just so damn charming. Here's the real surprise: Scream Blacula Scream is slightly better than the first film!

Georgios L (ag) wrote: This film hasn't aged very well. The Gorgon is not very frightening and the story is not very convincing.

Scott M (nl) wrote: Silly and bizarre. Enjoyable though.

Steve D (mx) wrote: Judge Dredd this is not. Just another over the top Stallone clunker that ignores its sorce material for loud obnoxious action (+ some terrible Rob Schneider moments to break up the explosions).

Stewart S (es) wrote: Creative twist on the sci-fi horror genre. Good effects, good acting, interesting story, fearsome creatures...well worth the time.

Liam M (it) wrote: A modern horror classic. Cruel, mean spirited deftly designed with perfectly tuned comedy to boot - 'Trick r Treat' is everything you want from a seasonal horror comedy at its finest, the best anthology movie since 'Creepshow'.

Shane D (ca) wrote: Another masterclass in character driven film from Tarantino, but it takes a long time to pay off and through some parts, it doesn't feel entirely worth it.

Matt K (it) wrote: Just bad. There are basically no redeeming features of this film, except the kid, who is constantly ridiculous. Danny Glover looks like he wants to rape him all the time, which is humerous. This moviie sucks, and isn't even a merciful 90 minutes, it's close to 2 hours long.
