It was the sister ship of the infamous Titanic... and its final destiny was the same. Experience the true untold story of Britannic, a tumultuous, epic voyage of human passion, courage and betrayal aboard an ill-fated ocean liner bound for a shattering demise. With the world at war, an undercover British agent (Amanda Ryan), embarks the Britannic in search of a German spy believed to be on board to sabotage the ship. Posing as a governess, the undercover agent finds herself falling in love with the ship's chaplain (Edward Atterton). In a stunning discovery, the lovers suddenly find themselves enemies of war. This film tries to cover a large array of topics by shoving them all under a vague term -- "the internet;" while this is surely a helpful strategy for covering more within the duration of a film, it does not go in-depth with any one particular topic. I appreciate what it tries to convey, but it ends up feeling like the first half of an "Intro to information technology course."
Travis L (gb) wrote: I thought this movie was excellent and it had extreme sad scences in it, This film has one of the best soundtracks out of any movie in it. I understand that people would critize it for not mentioning the Nanking Safety Zone or John Rabe, but this was mostly about the people in Nanking who didn't go to the camp. I do admit maybe Tom Hanks could have been a better role for Christian Bale's character, since we all know who Bale is in real life.

The way Jonathan as Van lives up to almost everyone's imagination can get anoying two, never-the-less that's what makes it all intresting. A lot of stupid humor and unnessesairy things happen, mostly evading from the main point. I found it hard to keep up with, could have another reason involving some drugs :p but still, this is off. You can verywell injoy it though!

This true story will make you cringe with its relentless brutality, and appalling injustice! This town reacted to the crime this movie is based on by closing in the ranks of the whites, and eventually running their new pastor out of town. White supremacy died a SLOW death in the deep South.
