Tavia H (ru) wrote: From what I can tell this movie was pretty acurate, but it doesn't really matter. This guy inspired Leatherface and Norman Bates. Serial Killer movies are the only ones to effectively scare me and this left me up all night. He killed 3 people, but the things he did to corpses is so sadistic.... The acting is amazing and the story is great from the beginning. The only inaccurate parts I could find were the cleanliness of the movie home, some items from the future and some horrific things missing. I will note that I unfortunately saw the real crime scene photos (on accident) of his last victim and thats what kept me up all night. The movie did an immaculate job of showcasing the crime scene. If you have to watch 1 serial killer movie in your life it should be this one.

Paul D (es) wrote: This movie tries to have a good message to it, but I am way too skeptical of matters of religion to take this movie too seriously. Afterlife beliefs aside, this movie (while it was beautiful) had a lot of pacing issues and it was hard to stay interested at times. It's a good idea, but something seems to be missing.
Ilja S (kr) wrote: What a shitfest of a movie this is. Pure popcorn, with plots from Jurassic Park, The Beast from 20,000 Phatoms and Independence Day, all rehashed into one huge piece of crap that for no reason whats or ever is called Godzilla.
Sam R (ca) wrote: Not bad, not great. Good. Mickey Rourke's Irish accent is quite good and really its his perofrmance that carries the film. The script seems a bit clunky, and the female roles are shallow. The direction could've done wit a bit of fine tuning, but the actors handle it well. Its a decent enough film, doubt it will be any top tens. But interesting to watch. Hoskins has the show stolen from him by Rourke. But if a great actor like Liam Neeson can be forgettable in a film, someting went wrong. Rourke still holds his own, regardless of the film's flaws

Raji K (jp) wrote: Paul Hogan co-writes and stars in Crocodile Dundee. Linda Kozlowski is a Sue Carlton, a news reporter that is going to Australia to get the story on a man who was nearly eaten by a crocodile, but manages to survive. She heads down under and assures herself that as a New Yorker she can handle anything. She winds up in Walkabout Creek where she meets a native Walter Reilly (Wally). Things seem innocent enough at first, but soon she finds out Australia is no walk in the park. She does all she can to avoid being the damsel into distress as Dundee (Hogan), fends off poachers, snakes, and of course crocodiles. Some of the shots of Australia were wonderful as well as some of the interactions with the wildlife. His charming good looks and confident manner has her falling for him and she asks him to come to New York. Feeling the same way about her as she does, he heads off to New York and the tables turn. He is now subject to all the foreign and dangerous entities of New York City. He encounters nothing short of knife wielding criminals, prostitutes, pimps and drugs. The strength in the comedy is demonstrating how simple everyday things we come across, can be completely foreign to others. The concept of bidets, cocaine, and crossdressers are some of the things he encounters to flex the movie's comedic muscle. Dundee's nave and carefree attitude to the dangers he encounters make the film entertaining. Sue and Mick Dundee's chemistry was also charming to watch. Crocodile Dundee is a fun and original comedy. The movie is not ageless, but the core concepts of the comedy remain entertaining. In many ways Dundee in New York is like a modern Tarzan. Although hardly anyone would encounter all the things Dundee does in a lifetime that Dundee does in a week, this does not matter much. The fish out of water tale was smash hit that made million and earned an Oscar nomination for best writing directly for a screenplay. What matters the most is Hogan really created a fun character, and Kozlowski was dynamic and sexy as Sue. -10.15.2016

Jacob B (us) wrote: Often overlooked classic from Chaplin. I didn't like it as much as I did the first time and certainly see more flaws in it than before, but it's still a beautiful ode to the kind of theater that Chaplin loved, a dying breed, just like Chaplin's way of telling movies was slowly dying out by that time. You can't help but thinking the lead character is just Chaplin himself under another name. His speeches are a bit too bombastic upon second viewing, but his passion for his subjects shines through loud and clear and he manages to pass it on to me as a viewer.

Francisco L (ca) wrote: Excellent dark atmosphere which can make this movie creepy, with interesting characters and interesting narrative, Monster House bring to us a movie full of actions that the kids will love. However with a lot of cliches, bad script and predictable narrative.
