Bulaklak ng digmaan torrent reviews

Thomas W (br) wrote: An excellent cast doesn't an excellent movie make ... it didn't even really make a good movie. The problem with this movie is that it is just simply so "meh ..." There is nothing special here to make me suggest or recommend it. Even fans of the cast -- Helen Hunt, Colin Firth, Matthew Broderick and Bette Midler -- would be at a loss to enjoy this. The four put out good performances but the story just isn't one that asks to be watched and/or enjoyed. Helen Hunt makes her directorial debut here and I have read that she has worked on this project for several years as a "pet project". I just wonder why? There is an emotional story at the center of the story -- Hunt plays a woman who isn't getting any younger and wants to mother a child (as in carry in her womb for nine months) -- but the movie itself is very Lifetime Television. Broderick plays her husband; Firth plays the father of one of her school children she is somewhat interested in; and Midler plays Hunt's local-celebrity/talk show host mother who shows up out of the blue to finally be a mother (the backstory here is that Hunt was adopted and knew very little about her birth mother). Perhaps there is just too-much story here and as-a-result the movie is bogged down and heavy. The movie simply isn't a pleasant watch ... if one watches movies in order to escape from reality this one is simply too depressing and NOT enjoyable. I really like Helen Hunt and so I wish her well and better luck for next time -- this movie is a "pass".

Ashley H (de) wrote: Mary Reilly is a fascinating film. The cinematography is beautiful. The mute colors with gray overtones caught my eye and kept me interested. John Malkovich is incredible as Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde. Julia Roberts is also intriguing to watch. The script is a bit melodramatic in parts but still good. Stephen Frears did a great job directing this movie. I enjoyed this motion picture because of the horror and suspense. Mary Reilly is a must see.

James M (ag) wrote: A prison drama of a cold-blooded murder, based on a true story. Worth watching alone for James Woods excellent performance.

John R (br) wrote: 130511: Quite a good film. The last 20 minutes is nothing but gunfight action and violence, some of it unexpected. Though Johnny Yuma is the hero, he gets really close to villainy at times. His wrath is felt Samantha and Thomas Felton, one of who fares better than the other, though neither fares well thanks to LJ Carradine. Unique conclusion. On a side note, what's with the pistol that shoots from the detachable holster? Along with that classic music and sound effects, it seems gimmicks always play a part in spaghetti's. This is one of the better ones I've seen as of late.

Cheryl C (gb) wrote: I must confess, I did a disservice to this movie by watching it in three parts due to my busy-ness as of late. But I was still able to enjoy this stylish telling of a love story that is both original and unique. Some wonderful quotes. A very European movie, to be sure.

Jackie H (br) wrote: Another brilliant movie from Woody Allen!! I loved it; I watched it 3 times so far.

John D (es) wrote: Fun for about half an hour before the slapstick gets to be too overbearing. "We've run out of script with half anv hour left. No big deal, we'll just have one long chase sequence!" Ug. Theme song by the Supremes?!?

Robyn C (nl) wrote: This barely deserves to be called giallo since it is actually pretty damned great. I saw this a couple of years ago at Quentin Tarantino's film fest in Austin and I really enjoyed it. I hope to watch it again soon.

Jonathan S (kr) wrote: Why do I keep watching these bad 80s-90s action movies? Because I like to laugh. That is why.
