Wandra L (jp) wrote: Wonderful, heartfelt, feel good movie about Roberto Duran and his amazing trainer. The cast is spot on and the performances are memorable. The boxing is realistic and done with such style it makes you understand what it feels to be on top of the ring. These boxers did it all for honor, country and family, and when Duran strays its his honor, his love for his country and his family what brings him back to become a champion again. Sugar Ray Leonard and Ray Arcel are both described as the gentlemen that made Boxing a true sport. Great movie, glad I saw it on the big screen.

Jason H (us) wrote: I think the story of George McGovern's failed canidacy is important to be known as is the stories of Bill Scranton in '64, Robert Kennedy in '68, and Shirley Chisolm in '72. This is a good documentary but it does at times go off the deep end in terms of narration and such, but the actual story and McGovern himself help this from being just a liberal documentary. Looking back at what could have been and now at what could be helps us look at the brighter side of politics and unfortunately the darker side at the same time. Good stuff for political and historical junkies and really paints a picture of McGovern's campaign that you don't see too often.

Bell, Peter Pasco, Mario Larraza, and Patrick CranshawDirected By: Angela RobinsonReviewYou know I'm not going to lie but I actually wanted to see this, for a movie that's bad it's a fun car movie with that coming of age crap that no one cares about but the only charm and worth you'll have from this movie is Herbie. The film is about Maggie Peyton(unfortunately) who graduates high school, and gets a car from her father who is a racer sponsored by her brother. Through circumstance she get's the 1963 bettle bug known as Herbie as she soon finds out the car's alive they both get into some trouble as Herbie beats a famous racer played by Matt Dillion, he becomes really angry that he's beaten by a 1963 bug that he puts an ad on the newspaper for a national race for the towns racers. Through that first race Maggie and Herbie have though she immediately feels connected to the car because with it's wheels grinds like she does with her skateboard. Herbie and Maggie go to the race and start winning but as you would expect in a film like this Maggie stabs Herbie in the back and he's taken to get trashed at a monster truck show. The car survive's as Maggie get's in and they get help from her brother to fix Herbie and go for one final race. The film feels like it was filmed in a junkyard and they got money for Nascar stadiums for a wek and had to shoot only one race instead of making it feel grande it feels dull and not worth cheering for our car. I say car because the Maggie character is played by Lindsey Lohan and no one's going to cheer for Lindsey(even if this was at a time when she was pretty) I mean that would be insane. The acting is like watching a bad episode of Dawson's Creek.Herbie has had a few other films before this maybe some where good and I really do hope they are because this is not the children's film Herbie should be in, Herbies not fully loaded he's fully loaded. I give this a two out of five.

Nikolaj Z (kr) wrote: The first episode of this final project in the Kenshin saga is just a series of flashbacks paying tribute to many of the most memorable scenes from the TV show. The second episode than tries to have an epic final confrontation between Kenshin and his guilt ridden past, but doesn't quite pull it off. But it does end the series better than the TV show did, and that's at least worth seeing; it wraps up everything very nicely and hints at a possible future series.

Nicola P (us) wrote: Miserable lives (maybe even too miserable to be more realistic). Sadly living with the sentences of past faults, hunger, circumstances and bad companies. Pasolini put in a movie his urban subproletariat.
