Chris E (au) wrote: I really can't find anything wrong with this movie. Fantastic - painful. Lea Seydoux is the veteran but Adle Exarchopoulos can turn on the faucet like few actors/actresses can.

Janne M (de) wrote: Pretty chaotic and creepy movie about sanitarium that is using new drug for "healing" people. The boss of the loony house isn't very stable either. Good performance by Peter Stormare.

Mikel K (de) wrote: Terrific adaptation of the Skipp-Spector Splatterpunk novel about were-wolf-like creatures. Erotic, passionate and visceral, this film won't be to everyone's tastes, but I really enjoyed its sense of fun and power.

SagaciousFrank (it) wrote: In my humble opinion, this is a poorer version of the superior and original Swedish adaptation. Is the Swedish version more faithful to the source material of the book? I cannot say because I haven't read it. But what I can tell you is that the Swedish version is simply a better told/paced, engaging, and well rounded story with (lead) characters whom you can get to know, like, and sympathise with.I found this very difficult with Fincher's take, in which the story and characters are kept at arms length from the audience. Lisbeth is also much colder and withdrawn, and although nobody can possibly condone the terrible things that she has had to endure in her troubled past, I found little in her to sympathise with. Likewise, Daniel Craig's Mickael is more of a husk and defeated man, and unlike the Swedish version, I felt no real bond or connection between the two main leads in both the solving of the crime/mystery with which they were presented, and the personal emotional connection which they flirt with while trying to crack the case.Due largely to Lisbeth's abusive past, the audience can accept that such a person would naturally be cautious and keep their cards close to their chest. But in the Swedish version this accomplished whilst also showing us glimpses of warmth, emotion, and humanity, whereas Fincher decides to keep Lisbeth more or less catatonic. I cannot possibly get on board with a character like that, even I do regret hearing about her abusive past.To summarise, buy and watch the far superior Swedish version. 3/5

Geoff R (de) wrote: I wish I could give this less stars, but I cannot, so I gave it half a star. This musical was subpar in every way shape and form. To begin, the music was extremely underwelming, and for a musical, that's the one thing the creators need to get right. But sadly, the music is lackluster, out of tune, and not memorable in the slightest. The acting was shotty, half the actors were monotone, while the other half couldn't even portray any form of actual emotion. In the end, this movie was nothing more then a gore fest without substance.

Ernst W E (kr) wrote: Meget bra film for vre norsk syntes jeg. Mtte se den ferdig og uten spole i filmen.

Owen D (kr) wrote: It had a nice Bigfoot costume, that's the nicest thing I can say about this movie.

Steven M (us) wrote: One of those mystery movies you watch for the sex scence. Like basic instinct.

Private U (au) wrote: startling story especially related to the current issues of paedophilia. An interesting perspective of the child

ra r (ru) wrote: Pierce Brosnan not only saved the three lives but saved this film as well. Lives were worth saving. The film is definitely worth watching.

Damian A (ag) wrote: In the spirit of the classic "Pumping Iron" which focused on the 1975 IFBB Mr. Universe and Mr. Olympia competitions and the epic showdown between Lou Ferrigno and Arnold Schwarzenegger, "Generation Iron" is the film for this generation of bodybuilders. Despite covering the lives of several IFBB Pros, Branch Warren, Roelly Winklaar, Dennis Wolf, Victor Martinez and Ben Pakulski, this film really focuses on the rivalry between Kai Green and the seemingly unstoppable Phil Heath during the 2012 Mr. Olympia. Already knowing the outcome of the competition already (Phil Heath is now 4 time Champ) did not make this film any less intense. The daily struggle to maintain your macros and training and even life struggles makes this film worth every second.

Sharon P (fr) wrote: It's not awful. I mean it's better than having bamboo splinters under my nails, so there's that.

Andrew L (gb) wrote: This is the most stupid film ever, and Cage's hair! Ergghh!

Miguel P (mx) wrote: One of the best movies I have ever saw

Muhammad F (de) wrote: A long lost masterpiece from Hitchcock. The whimsical, discomforting events occurred to each character makes each twists and plots more elaborated. If you're a fan of Hitchcock, this is a black comedy of which Hitchcock triumphed his best.

Dann M (ru) wrote: A film that's so bad it's awful, Hudson Hawk lives up to every bit of its infamous reputation. The story is terrible from start to finish, and is convoluted beyond comprehension. There's not a decent performance from the cast, and the comedy is abysmal; as not one joke lands. Hudson Hawk tries to be an action film spoof, but it's completely incompetent. Given what an atrocity this film is, it's hard to believe that Bruce Willis's career survived it.
