Peter MacDonald is comedy gold as The Machine and once again shows us that he is one of Ireland's greatest actors. Great support from Andrew Scott, Briain Gleeson and Hugh O' Connor.

Tatsuhito K (kr) wrote: Though I can't give this film a perfect score, I cannot deny that I absolutely adore When Harry Met Sally. It is one of my all-time favorite films, and one of the very important movies that influenced me both as a filmmaker and a writer. Every time I watch it, it makes me smile and laugh and feel good. I love Nora Ephron's insightful script, and the interplay between Crystal and Ryan never gets old. It's somewhat predictable and has some obligatory romcom cliches, but the magnetic chemistry between the leads and Rob Reiner's tender direction compensate those flaws. It is touching, funny, and delightful. When Harry Met Sally is a timeless romcom classic.

Justin A (au) wrote: It's supposed to be a comedy, but it's really not that funny. In fact, a lot of the written jokes fall flat. What makes the movie so fun is Tom Hanks. It's really difficult not to enjoy Tom Hanks acting goofy. Most of the laughs in the movie come from him just making awkward facials or just acting uncomfortable. Joe Dante seems to try to duplicate what he did with Gremlins, by having quiet suburbia terrorized by some horror element. It doesn't quite work the same though. It's a pretty good movie, and one I grew up watching as a kid, but I feel like there are better movies of this nature as well.

Matt S (br) wrote: Where Generations had shortcomings, this one is a home run. Another time travel tale. This time the crew have to stop The Borg from assimilating Earth in the mid-21st century and help make sure first contact with the Vulcans takes place by having Zefram Cochran get his warp ship into space. This has elements of a horror film and a classic thriller. The cast is great and the script is fantastic. Everything about this one is what makes it one of my favorite Trek films.

Hector C (fr) wrote: An interesting story of a gritty uncle an a Copley of brothers sticking together. There are some unsolved questions, but overall is a good twist to the end (although I would've tricked a bit). See it, you might find it appealing.

Kelly K (ag) wrote: This movie was sad and cruel. I was disgusted by the way two seemingly intelligent adults used children for their entertainment.
