Sangeeta S (ag) wrote: Reasonably interesting. Does well to completely take the Hollywood glamour out of prostitution on both the worker and pimp side. Fairly unrealistic in parts, with no consequences from calamity in the street. Lacked a sense of urgency and suspense towards the end with mostly predictable outcomes.

This is an excellent basis to have someone do an update with more sophisticated means of storytelling than late 40's Hollywood sidesteps around mental health, bad marriages, rape, and gender roles.
Luke O (ru) wrote: A stylized, entertaining and exquisitely written movie. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang impresses on both a thrilling and comedic level. Downey Jr's narration is witty and his chemistry with Kilmer is a treat to watch. The irony and self awareness of the film allows viewers to rationalize what can be a convoluted plot at times.
