(fr) wrote: Probably one of the funniest horror/comedy movies in a very long time! The story is about a class field trip in Europe. But, everything goes wrong when they come to the home of the American Burger. This movie is very self-aware of how stupid it is. The characters are very cliched, and they know it. They even name the characters by how they act in the movie (nice cheerleader, nerd with a camera, preppy cheerleader, etc. etc.). The movie's plot isn't the best, but there are some truly hilarious scenes throughout. Especially in the end when a great, funny plot twist happens! The acting is solid. Some of the teens are very bad, but most of them are quite good, actually. And the manager of American Burger is really well acted. There is quite a lot of gore and violence in the movie, but all of it is done in a comedic way and it looks great! Yes, it can get over-the-top, but it looks awesome. All in all, probably one of the, if not THE best, horror/comedy I've ever seen and I would seriously recommend to watch this.

After killing all the miners, the beast attacks a couple of truckers bringing explosives to the site. Fast-paced and fun, it starts with the action early in the film and keeps that pace up as the monster chases the truckers through the icy tundra.

(gb) wrote: I've always liked this movie. It's very much of it's time. Goldblum and Lauper are great together, it's a very strange and awkward pairing. The jokes aren't gut busters, they're solid little verbal digs. The addition of Peter Falk makes the movie even more bizarre and hilarious. The plot is interesting as well, it's a very solid goofy 80's comedy, extremely underrated.
(fr) wrote: While maybe not living up to the excellence of The Empire Strikes back, Return of The Jedi is a Star Wars installment worth noting, with its epic Starfighter battle scenes and it's epic final duel.

(it) wrote: Dark and bloody tale of revenge with beautiful, striking use of lighting and some seriously atmospheric and crazy kung fu/swordfight choreography; superb portrayal of small town life in medieval China (with the main intrigue revolving around a sword factory) reminiscent of the roughest depictions of the wild west...
