Rabea M (fr) wrote: Brilliantly funny film. Unexpected honest and realistic dialogue. Every film of John Turturro's I watch, Im rooting for him to die at the end...eventhough i like his characters very much. This was no different. which i suppose is a testimony to how brilliant an actor he is. his character's specially funny. Binoche is wonderful as ever.

Larry W (de) wrote: A romance and family drama, told from the perspective of C3PO.

Jonathan P (kr) wrote: A rather dull story that just didn't resonate with me at all. I love Cuba and he does a fine job here and Hopkins is always on top of his game but Instinct never seemed to go anywhere. The writing tended to be a bit cheesy and the story seemed to be recycled from numerous other prison movies...the only thing that seemed original was the gorilla back story which almost seemed out of place. Not sure I would recommend this to anyone but I wouldn't go out of my way to tell someone not to watch it either.

It makes you thank those who are so truly invested in their art craft and are willing to stand up for what they believe in. Really great message and inspiration for starving artists and aspiring artists out there.

Leo C (ag) wrote: I remember watching this flick as a kid during the late 90s and I really liked. However, as a grown adult who watched this film again, I was very disappointed by how godzilla was. This wasn't Godzilla at all, this was just a crappy rip off to a nostalgic franchise. Hell, the 2014 flick is awesome despite some flaws, yet it superbly surpasses this film.

Carlos R (it) wrote: Good movie, not the best but a something you can watch on a day where you've got nothing to do. On the plus side, I went to the school where it was filmed so its a good way to look at old times!

Mrten E (gb) wrote: En underlig fransk blandning av Greven av Monte Cristo och DaVinci-koden som utspelar sig i frstklassiga miljer. Nstan varje scen slutar ocks i en slags komisk vndning. ?nd befriande. Frsta halvtimmen r svagare n resten av filmen.

Jon P (kr) wrote: One of the better superhero movies out there. Loved most of the actors except for Jessica Alba. They could have found a better fit for the group.

jason m (br) wrote: obviously this is not a great flick with the acting and story line being as awful as it is. but it was still worth a watch. i never laughed so hard at a movie in my life. it's definitely one of those so bad it's good type of flicks. it was worth a watch.

Fresca D (es) wrote: This is the most exquisite, touching and simply 'perfect' film I have ever seen - it is my all time favourite. The writing is brilliant, the acting - sublime, the music score and editing wonderfully intertwined with the exceptional twist to the character plot lines. By far the best thing I've ever seen and in particular - so knowledgable about the ins and outs of self examination and relationship to oneself, our dreams and aspirations, and the desire to be known and loved. It touched me very deeply... and I fell in love with the actors' characters and their endearing performances... How did this not get nominated for Oscar? As a Film Professional for 25 years... it takes a lot to impress me... the originality of this screenplay is really exciting... I can't wait to see what Zoe and Paul do next. Francesca Dappen

Noel F (it) wrote: Who is this Robert Pattinson guy? He is a great actor and almost stole this movie from the Guy Pearce.

Liam C (nl) wrote: Nora Ephron has a real knack for making totally annoying but totally loveable films! As is the case with Sleepless in Seattle, you know they're going to meet up in the end but getting to the end is a whole other story. Yes, Meg Ryan, Tom Hanks and Nora Ephron all return to what they do best, make good romantic comedies that feel real, fleshed out and interesting to watch. The great thing about this film is that it doesn't feel like a hack job or a copy and paste of sorts, besides the fact that it came out 5 years after Sleepless, it's made by exactly the same people so it could very easily fall into a cheap cash-in but no! It feels fresh and different, what's extra good is that I saw both of these movies back to back and they just felt so both unique. Not to totally compare them for the entirety of the review but it's not as good as Sleepless, I feel. While Sleepless was grounded in reality it definitely had a touch of whimsy and fantasy about it, while this one very much does feel realistic but does make you feel warm inside, especially at the last scene. I do like that they share a majority of time together on screen and their rivalry starts and I like that near the end Tom Hanks' character plays a kind of trick on Meg Ryan's character, like usual, it was fun but annoying to watch. I just want them to get together again! It's a great film and the stars play off of each other amazingly. Highly recommended.
