(au) wrote: A very good war, drama film by Oliver Stone. Probably one of James Woods' best performances. A movie that is vastly underrated.
(ca) wrote: This was the absolute worst movie ever. There are plenty of bad movies out there like Robot Monster, Plan 9 from Outer Space, or Attack of the Giant Leaches, but at least those movies are entertaining. Idaho Transfer, on the other hand, is a boring, repetitive, super 70's hippie garbage movie full of one dimensional characters who are most likely stoned (because it's the 70's) that walk around the entire movie. That's it, just people walking around and some meaningless dialogue that no one will care about. The only good thing is that at the end they all end up dieing. If you didn't read the synopsis you will have no idea what is going on because they never explain what happened. One minute they are in present time the next they are in the future and walking around. The only action sequence in the movie is where at one point one of the hippie chicks goes crazy for some unexplained reason and tries to kill some other hippie chick but she escapes this assault by jumping into the time machine and transporting herself into the farther future. Than she dies and the movie is over. Hooray!
