Henry C (de) wrote: Cheesy grinning spacefaring goodness. A thoroughly enjoyable film if you're into subtle, light, humorous, character driven, easy-going movies. Great soundtrack, visually pleasing, good cast. Would definitely recommend.

Blake C (fr) wrote: We've gotten two Spider-Man origin stories, and I think this one beats out Andrew Garfield's any day of the week. This movie knocks it out of the ball park. Not only does it show case the emotional side of Peter Parker, it has Willam Defoe as an amazing villain that pulls the audience in.

Alan W (us) wrote: While this is again enjoyable and undemanding fluff, it suffers more especially in comparison, as it is more predictable, generic and with setups most can see coming a mile away. Hawkins' performance is very infectious and watchable though.

Diganta B (us) wrote: An excessive and fascinating character is way more than a first-rated mobster film!

Sharon A (nl) wrote: I actually liked this film, and was quite sorry to see the end of the film. Think Felicity Huffman was quite brave to do the role.

The cast are not great actors. The story is shit. You are probably asking why I gave it an 80. I gave Cabin Boy an 80 becuase it is one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. I love this movie. It is my all time favorite low intelligence, low brow movie ever. If that kind of thing sounds good to you, or if seeing David Letterman try and sell you a sock monkey sounds awesome, run out and buy, steal or beg for this flick.

Becky J (gb) wrote: This move is all sorts of ridiculously. I laugh. It's good. Watch it sometime when you feel like it. Snot is SO gross I had to keep closing my eyes. I wish it was blood. SNOT? Seriously? SNOT? *pukes a little*

Ian R (jp) wrote: What an odd movie, part old timey slapstick, part serious melodrama, part musical. Prince waffles between great and terrible and there's a really weird homoerotic undertone. But there are some great parts mixed in with the bad.

Ted W (us) wrote: The first Carry On in color, but I found it a bit less amusing than the previous Spying entry. Lots of great double entendres but that was about it. Dale has a much larger role as the heroic English slave Horsa, but Williams is still the center of it all as Caesar.

Brandon W (ru) wrote: Click is directed by Frank Coraci, and it stars Adam Sandler in a science fiction comedy about an architect who is tired of his work, and a bit of his family. So he found an universal remote control that literally controls his life. When I first watched it, I thought it was ok at best, nothing special, but it was probably during the time where I was getting a little tired of Adam Sandler. Now that I feel like watching lots of Adam Sandler on Netflix, I guess I'll get Click over with, which was a bit of a surprise to me of how better I thought it was. In the beginning, I wasn't laughing as there are tons of jokes that fall flat to me. Christopher Walken is a lot of fun and gives out some funny humor to it, and when he does give the main character the remote, that's when it starts to get better in terms of its humor. There are still some humor that didn't hit bullseye, but there are a joke afterwards that got me laughing. The special effects look really good, and the make-up is really well done. When it got to the ending, the drama aspect of it, was really unexpected, and surprisingly effective. It really made me felt sorry for Adam Sandler's character who is a bit of a jerk, but the movie does address him as a jerk, and he doesn't go overboard with it. When Adam Sandler does drama, he usually does a great job of it, and it kind of made me want to see more of it, but hey, it's a Happy Madison Productions film, so it's rare that I'm gonna see something like drama. With that said, Click is a really good movie that is really nice to see a funny movie from Happy Madison Productions.

Michael W (jp) wrote: Surprisingly good! The preview was awful, but the movie was great. I guess low expectations helps sometimes. Firewall is written and directed in a Alfred Hitchcock style. There is suspense and a plot twist with a story of a man in a panic is great. Harrison Ford is a banker who is caught on in a scam/heist with some bad people. The bad situation get worse when Ford's character's family is involved, Paul Bettany plays the British evil mastermind perfectly. One of Ford's last roles before Neeson slowly become his replacement. Highly recommended. 3 stars.

Sgt C (fr) wrote: (50%)A better than most early Blaxploitation flick that is really quite funny in places and the two leads are good fun, but the film grows a little tiresome and I found myself caring less and less as it went along. Fans of this type of thing should give it a go.
