Barbara C (ru) wrote: Mixed feelings . I enjoyed pieces but was very bored with others. The acting, the writing, the delivery are very good as a whole. The story is strong about 75% of the time. It just didn't come together for me. Worth a couple hours at home on a ppv channel - yes. If they'd kept the Goatman story as strong in the middle and end as they did in the beginning, it would have been much better.

Brian P (ag) wrote: Not knowing really what a swing parade is, this movie could have had a ton of them in it but I don't know. This is another one of those 1940s movies where the girl falls in love with the guy after the girl realizes that she is a girl and should stop thinking for herself and raise the guy's family. The three stooges are also in this but not as much as the cover would have you think. The do their typical stooge like antics and then it cuts back to the plot.
Jason C (it) wrote: I know the tone looked drearier, but I was kind of hoping this would be similar to "begin Again". Sadly it was not. The singing and music was pretty subpar and the rest of the story was just boring. I was hoping more from hathaway, who only sings a few bars during the whole movie. The character didn't have much depth for any indie type flick either. Very plain and boring.
