Nicki M (us) wrote: Liked this. Not my usual thing at all, being a musical, but most of the songs are good and I liked the style of the whole movie. I think I would wear just about everything Emily wears here! It maybe could have been slightly shorter, and Cassie's voice irritated me, but mostly good.
Patrick D (ca) wrote: It's good! I liked it! Somewhat of a surprise.Yah, it's an action film and it does mostly follow the numbers. It uses that cool/artful direction and editing that is common in modern action, but it's effective. The director and/or the editor do go into some interesting flairs in some of the sequences which look, well... cool. It also develops (yah, actually develops, if only somewhat) some interesting characters that go a bit beyond your stock fare. Jean-Claude's character is even a little different that your average stock hero and, you know, he shows a bit of his acting chops through the character. Basically if you want an actioner that hit all the popcorn notes but still deviates enough to be interesting, see it.

You can't go wrong with a film if the Fox is in it.There isn't anything particular significant or great about this film but it's funny in its own way & the story just grows on you.Filled with some excellent supporting roles such as Woody Harrelson & Bridget Fonda etc. Its a cute little comedy that is real easy watching & just fun to watch.

Barbara's forceful husband Sam (Danny DeVito) has ripped off the Kesslers and they decide to hold Barbara for ransom. Sam, who hates his wife, refuses to pay. Eventually Barbara befriends the Kesslers and together they figure out how to exact revenge upon the obnoxious Sam. Bill Pullman makes his film debut here as a very dim, would-be criminal.

Scott G (au) wrote: One of the most underrated films ever made. This has always been a great film. Kevin Costner not talking with an English accent never bothered me. The action and events in the film were well done and the final battle was very good. I'll never understand why the critics dismissed the film but even they've made mistakes. After all their the same people that said Gremlins 2 the New Batch was better then the first. Have they even seen that film. I believe the main reason why they hit the movie so hard was because they were just mad that Costner won best director and his film Dances With Wolves won best picture. In other words nothing more than sour grapes.
