Casual Day is a company practice imported from the USA. Every Friday the workers are asked to exchange their suits for more informal attire. Ruy has always lived as he liked. Though clever, he's gotten himself into a jam. José Antonio, his girlfriend's father, has earmarked an important job for him in his company. He wants him to be his successor. At the age of 25, without actually having decided anything, he's trapped. He'd like to say no to the job, to José Antonio, to Inés, his girlfriend, and to the Casual Day stuff. But it's not easy to say no. What started out as a simple event, a weekend in the country, ends up deciding the rest of his life.

It illustrated all the conflicts and drama that can arise between co-workers, long-time friends, and families as well as the pains of getting older expertly. Walken was great as always, and it was nice to see him play a "good" guy instead of the baddies he usually does. Phillip Seymour Hoffman was wonderful too. I didn't like his character at all to begin with, but as time went on I understood him better and could actually feel some empathy for him. terrific performances all around.

Sumit S (de) wrote: A docu-drama about the rise of PC through the rivalry between Apple & Microsoft, the movie captures the birth of Apple, Inc. & Microsoft Corp & how they turned into rivals. The cast is stunning & the performances are quite accurate. Even the locations & events like student movements of the 70s, Jobs' garage, the cluelessness of Xerox about the potential of their own creation, 1984 commercial, Bill Gates working in Apple & then deceiving the company etc were captured quite nicely. This is mostly a movie about Jobs' life but misses out a lot on Bill Gates. Overall, the movie is not very kind to either Jobs or Gates as it emphasizes their negative qualities more. Not a highly accurate insight into the history of Apple & Microsoft but definitely worth a watch.

This is where it all goes wrong. In the supporting cast: Dennis Frimple.

You could take this movie out of the series completely and not miss a thing about it. It was just too much of a bad thing... but... I still enjoyed it slightly because Meiko as The Scorpion is still the best thing, ever.

Richard L (mx) wrote: The trailer was made to look like an horror movie but it really is an horror comedy. It takes off slowly mostly because of uneven performances from experienced actors playing disappointing stock characters. When the action and the special effects kick in, it eventually gets interesting, yet insufficiently
