Vincent M (mx) wrote: It's kind of like Gattaca in that nothing really ever happens, and there is one tiny bit of action. Except the story is weak, the characters are bland, and there is no moral or point.

Laura M (ru) wrote: You can see the influence of Halloween (1978) and Friday the 13th (1980) in this movie but it's also kind of its own thing. I watched it because the ending is supposed to be one of the most unexpected twists and it was. Not a bad movie.

Some have said this is a cheaper version of Tobruk. Quite boring and typical of Spaghettti War movies! 2 out of 4

Donnie D (us) wrote: #Cactus #Flower is absolutely one of the best movies from the 60's i've ever seen. Goldie Hawn won her 1st & ONLY Academy Award for the role of Toni, (yup! betcha didn't know that! lol most people don't!) a lovesick young woman who seems to be tied into a relationship that's not so 'desirable' anymore. Walter Matthau plays her beau, Julian Winston & does so in his classic 'dry humor' wit, flawlessly. Ingrid Bergman plays his stern & 'straight to the point' assistant who is sort of the 'glue' in this witty & yet romantic film. As a big fan of older movies, i think you'll agree this one was a great way to end the year of 1969. I bought this one as well. (5 out of 5 stars Wed 8/8/2010 8pm Eastern)

Fearing what the spirit of man could accomplish, the Lord said; "Let us go down and confuse their language so that they may not understand one another speech." If you want to be understood... listen. Christina E (br) wrote: I don't think you can really categorize this as horror since there was nothing scary about it. You already know who the killer is, so basically you just watch kill after kill. The same methods were used time and time again to pull the victims away from the group making it tedious and dull. If you're watching it because it's a part of the series, don't expect too much from it.

Allan C (jp) wrote: Terrific crime film featuring Chester Himes famous detectives Gravedigger Jones and Coffin Ed Johnson. Ossie Davis directed this film that has a perfect blend of action, humor and some smart political undertones. Godfrey Cambridge and Raymond St. Jacques play the detective pair and dominate the scenes they're in, but the film also features a cast of many familiar faces (even if you don't recognize their names), including Redd Foxx, Cleavon Little, Helen Martin, Leonardo Cimino, John Anderson and Eugene Roche. Though often pigeonholed as a blaxploitation film, I feel this film deserves to be considered outside of that context because although it does feature a nearly all black cast and has some other trappings of the sub-genre, it is smart enough of a film that
