Emil K (us) wrote: After 50-years director Jean-Luc Godard is still making this artsy-fartsy communist propaganda which plays out like parody of a "art" film. There is nothing wrong in making political cinema, but it all depends how you present your issues and Godard is simply just preaching with one finger up. It is like listening a old sniveling grandpa telling you how to think or how wrong everything is. This is a sad example of a artist just completely full of himself and his opinions of this world.

Bill B (ru) wrote: This was a complete blind-buy for me, based entirely on the stills I had seen of a bald, blue striped vampire gal looking hot, and I have to say that I wasn't disappointed. The story of a vampire seeking revenge across time, visited upon those who took his life is an interesting one, and I really enjoy the Gothic trappings and the 'under the bigtop' setting.Well worth a look, recommended.

Helen S (jp) wrote: A wonderful film! The acting from Truffaut is a little wooden, but the boy who did Victor was great. I felt this movie raised questions more than it answered them -- for instance, what does it mean to be human? Was it right for the doctors to try to "civilize" this boy? This movie lets you draw your own conclusions.

Stanley C (de) wrote: Tangled has the best computer graphics and visual effects for water and hair animation that any animated movie can ever ask for, but overall, it's not a great movie and sings a bunch of 5-minute songs to make up for a lack of plot.

Jesse F (au) wrote: Fun documentary for starting conversations on political consulting. "Arrogant" hardly begins to describe James Carville's team in Bolivia..."hubris-tastic" comes to mind. This film is also a good reminder that it's not just the sides of political issues that we should argue about, but the very choice of those issues.
