Pete S (es) wrote: Good movie. Very sneaky movie which made it quite interesting. It had a decent story with a nice ending. A movie you watch only once.

Gareth D (ru) wrote: A powerful look at a pivotal time in the career of MLK, incredible acting, well shot, nicely paced and moving. Well worth a watch.

Li E (ca) wrote: This isn't worth any part of a star. It is probably the worst film I have ever seen [and I've seen quite a few bad ones] and I couldn't watch it all the way through because it was so dreadful - I gave up on hoping that perhaps I'd missed something, that it was a bad comedy perhaps? The acting is wooden, the dialogue is laughable and the production makes it look like an amateur effort. The PR claims that it's the best film Madsen's been in since Reservoir Dogs - oh please! - and has the gall to compare it to Yuma and True Grit - in Lionsgate's wildest dreams.

Keter H (fr) wrote: This entire movie was a work of art. Honestly, it deserves more that avatar in terms of animation and the plot got me in tears, and the character development was so intriguing to watch. Garfield is a real hunk, I wish i had a man like that.

Allen G (it) wrote: Not only was it fairly educational (at least for me, anyway), but 'Fog of War' was also honest. More specifically, its subject, Robert McNamara was honest. As a result this is a unique look at warfare and its consequences from one of the men who was involved in many of America's conflicts. The film certainly works to the emotions, given how horrible a subject war is, and yet it never feels like an attack on either McNamara or even the conflicts that he was involved in. Instead, there's a real sense of engaging with the issues on both sides and, whether you follow McNamara's world view or not, you can't help but understand it. Is war inevitable and, if so, what responsibilities do we have towards our fellow humans when we conduct it? Heavy questions indeed but ones that shouldn't be avoided.

Jared F (ru) wrote: 110 mins of agonizingly boring slow build up with a massively scary 2 minute pay off.

Brendan M (us) wrote: Stylistically well done but its not want we film fans want from a Scorsese film.

Robert P (kr) wrote: Wonderful device for putting Nazism under scrutny at a micro level. Fascism with a smile is much more disturbing and subversive than usual depictions, as it really gets under the skin. Ethics and conscience run right through this picture

Roy S (us) wrote: Sure don't make them like this anymore, and I sure wish they did. Quaintly preachy liberalism aside, it is splendidly crafted. Well acted, well told, nicely scored, and beautifully photographed. You and your brothers are greatly missed, John Frankenheimer!

John C (de) wrote: Incredibly corny and cheap lines aside, Godzilla has much to offer for a turn of the century, popcorn entertainment sci-fi flick.
