Jeffrey N (us) wrote: If the Suicide Squad movie is half as good as Batman: Assault on Arkham, it will have been a worthwhile movie. Andrea Romano is back as Voice Director and has assembled a great cast for this story, which has a lot of the New 52's Suicide Squad's flavor to it, at least the first 25 issues or so until they changed the creative team. Batman's voiced by THE Batman, Kevin Conroy. While Batman is a featured player, this is really just a Suicide Squad movie with Batman thrown in to sell the title. Dallas-native Troy Baker is a dead ringer for notable Joker voice, Mark Hamill. The story is well-constructed, action-packed and gives equal treatment to a strong collection of super-villains sent to Arkham to kill The Riddler on a mission for Amanda Waller, who remains fat in this movie like the comics, but unlike the various casting decisions on TV and the upcoming Suicide Squad film. Harley Quinn continues to prove that she's one of the best characters added to the DC stable in decades and Deadshot is great, as usual, unlike his awful portrayal on TV's "Arrow." Will Smith will no doubt do him justice. With cameos by The Penguin, Bane and The Riddler, nearly all of Batman's Rogue Gallery is portrayed. While the newer DC/WB animation still leaves something to be desired, this one didn't seem as bad.
