James H (it) wrote: 6.5/10. Fun and enjoyable romantic comedy, with a very engaging cast. Martin Donovan and Mary-Louise Parker are terrific and have a good rapport together. Good dialogue, great pace, the scenes are well set up together, the film flows well.

This film is downright abysmal: unbelievably stupid and pointlessly lurid, with some awful acting and howlingly-bad dialogue. A failure on all levels.

Nonya B (au) wrote: WTF!? Did NOT like this, just plain sucked. Extremely bad. ONLY watch if you want to know how bad it is. There is nothing redeeming about this film. This poor excuse of a film. If ever there was a movie that encouraged guys to rape women because they secretly do want it, this movie would it be it.
Ivy K (br) wrote: Divine shines in this outragous piece of cult trash that only John Waters could come up with. While leading a traveling sideshow of maniacal proportions complete with heroin addict her not so adequate boyfriend plots his escape. After a "Divine" religious intervention in Church the final confrontation sends Divine completely insane resulting in the most delightful epic all captured in beautiful black and white. Absolute genius and complete and utter anarchy, a piece of true obscure cinema madness.
