(ru) wrote: I think the action picks up a bit more compare to the 3rd film. It is 4th year of wizard school. Daniel Radcliffe dream of Voldermort and his minions. When the family and friends attend a national Quidditch tournament, Death Eaters came and Daniel saw the guy (David Tennant) who appear in his dream. Brendan Gleeson is the new defense against the dark arts teacher. This year the school held the Tri-Wizard Tournament and under 17 years old cannot participate because it is dangerous. Robert Pattinson is chosen to represent Hogwarts. Stanislav Ianevski from another school and he is also a German national team Quidditch seeker. Clmence Posy is another from the girls school of France. Daniel's name is chosen as the 4th contestant, to the dismay of Rupert Grint mostly and many speculate he cheated in order to join. The council head decide to let him join although he is underage. Then there is the ballroom dance which Emma Watson go with Stanislav. Daniel want to invite Katie Leung but she agree to Robert. So it was disastrous for both Daniel and Ron. The first contest Daniel luckily outwit the Dragon and got the egg for the next clue. But Robbie Coltrane warn him beforehand. Unable to decipher the egg clue, Robert tell Daniel to take a bath and Daniel submerge it underwater and hear the clue. Matthew Lewis got hold of a herb to let Daniel breathe underwater. Clmence is defeated by the sea creatures. Daniel want to save 2 "hostage" but the creatures only allow one. He save 2 and himself attacked, uses magic to propel back on land. Stanislav save Emma and Robert save Katie. Clmence thank Daniel and Ron for saving her sister. While in the woods, Daniel saw the corpse of the council head. The last contest is to grab the winners cup in the maze. All are defeated except Daniel. He reluctantly save Robert from being grab by the branches and together they hold the cup but whisk to a cemetery. Timothy Spall resurrect Voldermort (Ralph Fiennes) and kill Robert who is in the way. Turns out Jason Isaacs is also one of his followers. Ralph is gonna kill Daniel when their powers clash, his parents and Robert appear to hold Ralph distract to let Daniel grab the corpse and cup to the victory venue. Brendan bring Daniel to his room and he blurted out details which Daniel never mention. Michael Gambon, Maggie Smith and Alan Rickman rush in and reveal the chest hold the jailed and real Brendan. The fake is David all along using disguise potion. He is the one who make Daniel been chosen and win the tournament to let Voldermort revive because it need his blood. Michael decide to tell the school who kill Robert and they go for summer break..

(mx) wrote: Sometimes keeping a Facade can make a person grow into someone who he/she is not. This movie shows us how strong people are influenced by the rules of society; but at what cost? Pleasing the neighbor can become an unbearable burden and make a person go to the extreme. Interesting point of view on how Ludovik's head works, in order to justify how he is and the projection of the world where he thinks he belongs.

(es) wrote: Writer/Director James Cameron (The Terminator 1&2, The Abyss, and True Lies) writes and directs a film about historical fiction at its finest. Set in 1912, when the Titanic was just constructed, two people from two opposite worlds strike up a romance, and try to experience before the sinking of the Titanic. Starring, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, James Cameron gets two very honest and real performances. The Oscar winning soundtrack composed by musical genius, James Horner, fits perfectly into this masterpiece, and evokes emotions beyond all comprehension. Titanic is a great romance, and a very intense action film which will make you laugh, cry, and much more!
(ca) wrote: Daniel returns as a fat jerk, clearly emboldened by his deplorable behavior in previous films. This time we get a heartwarming story of true friendship and redemption, through Sensei John Kreese and businessman/buddy Terry Silver. Mr. Silver is a great man, willing to put all personal and professional business aside to aid his friend, who was wrongly disgraced at the end of the first film. Silver hand picks a karate machine (Mike Barnes) to help him avenge Kreese. The formula is familiar: LaRusso instigates, Barnes defends himself, LaRusso paints himself as the victim, and we have an eventual showdown. I believe there's something going on in the final match, by the way. Barnes pummels Daniel for 99% of the match, until Daniel uses a silly dance (again cheating) to distract him and "win". I believe the end is like Taxi Driver: Daniel is mortally wounded and hallucinates his victory over Barnes. The end of the fight is incongruous with the beginning. In reality, Daniel dies of internal injuries in an ambulance, while he fantasizes defeating Barnes. We're really witnessing the final thoughts of a dying man. Justice is served. Cobra Kai never die, and the trilogy reaches it's inevitable and just conclusion.

(jp) wrote: Dated, with poor performances, Drive, He Said is an interesting time capsule and worth checking out for being a counter-culture relic. Nicholson has some fine slow-motion basketball scenes, and he seems to know how to direct his performers, but nothing comes together coherently or unexpectedly. Like Easy Rider, it's very dated, but unlike that iconic film, it's not very entertaining and anything interesting it has to say feels worn and repetitive.
