Chris S (it) wrote: This is a great film and can't understand why with such a well known cast that it doesn't get any credit. I brought this after Paul Walkers very sad passing and have watched it every Christmas since. Its a great Christmas movie as it has some real hard and sad moments but it will also pick you up and make you smile.
Adam W (ca) wrote: I swear back in the 90s there was a stage when they were just churning out shit films, and this is a perfect example. The story is just ridiculous and the film feels badly dated.

His stand-up-style schtick is clever- but doesn't always push the story forward. Entertaining to watch, none-the-less.

For that reason alone I have given 'You Were Never Lovelier' a half a star extra than 'Top Hat'. The choreography of the musical numbers is simply stunning and the plot is a lot of fun with some genuine laugh-out-loud moments. Of course Astaire is also fantastic - even though you know that, in real life, Rita would be way out of his league!
Jed G (mx) wrote: It's no less cheesy and absurd than its predecessors, but Escape from the Planet of the Apes is one of the more original and character-oriented entries in the series, with a tense and inventive plot that has a refreshing modern feel to it.
