Sean D (ag) wrote: It was just so boring. And weird. Some random guy comes out and says there's witches and we need to rid the kingdom (consisting of multiple towns and hamlets) of the threat. The way witches work or even look in this film, is not at all typical and that's always a good thing. There is no giant pots with boiling water. But there is a lot of energy beams of sorts being tossed around, basically like the force in Star Wars. The film's plot is just so slow and boring and the first half of the film is horrible. Once the 2nd half picks up, it's much better. This film will always be remembered by me for the way they portray witches, which I definitely enjoy.

Edmund C (ag) wrote: Starts off with Ranbir and PC's characters meeting on the edge of the Washington Bridge, where both were attempting suicide. Their plans get kinda thwarted, so they postpone suicide to a further date (20 days later). Aside from the predictability that they would fall in love along the way, the film does have some insights to share, ie. Time gives us a chance to view things in a different light, and things may not feel so bad a week later, and even Akash's own eventual realization; "have we even tried once to solve those things?" And finally, if all else is naught, the other could turn out to be the reason each wants to stay alive for!

Kenny N (gb) wrote: Irishman Colin Farrell manages the perfect Noo Yawk accent. This one goes by fast (ironic, since it takes place in real time), but it's a great argument for always keeping a strong personal moral character. You never know who might be watching.

Vincent P (kr) wrote: Bland, generic, and lackluster. Almost like Movie Making 101. I give it a C.

Mark D (it) wrote: The quientesential piss poor horror film. Horrible to watch, but thankfully it came in at a whopping 1 hour 12 mins and my god i was thankful. Poor acting, script, EVERYTHING. Whats baffeling is that its stood the test of time and is stil available, so theres obviously an audience out there. I must have missed something. Nice attempt at a gimmick at the end though.

Michael S (es) wrote: This is the sort of dark, violent, yet dull and ponderous detective tale that Denzel Washington used to churn out every year in the late 1990s. That is not a good thing. Think "Bone Collector" or "Fallen."

Megan S (gb) wrote: I mean it was good enough for a movie to watch on TV in the middle of the night. I did get fooled by the ending, no matter how implausible it was. I kept thinking I had it figured out but then thinking that was too obvious so I'd think something else but I never did get it right.
