Very well written story that emphasiszes the importance of the relationships we have in our lives and the satisfaction of caring for people besides ourselves and receiving the healing we ourselves need in return. It is well directed and there is plenty of humor to lighten up the fact that it is a tearjerker.

Roni M (fr) wrote: Belushi plays a hardened Chicago newspaper writer that is told to produce a story about an Eagle watcher (Brown) in the Rocky Mountains. Of course he is a fish outta water in the mountains and depends on the Brown character's aid in order to survive. Of course a romance ensues. Classic boy gets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets girl again. The actors worked well opposite each other and it was a chance to see John Belushi play a real person on the screen versus an SNL related character. The movie drags on at times and gratuitous AmTrack shots let us know who the sponser was. The ending...well they didn't have one really, that was a downer.

David J (au) wrote: "Rocky III" continues the titular pugilist's story with a fresh idea, but this film fails to contend with it's predecessors mostly due to the fact the Rocky Balboa we see here is not the same lunkheaded city slicker we came to know and love in the original film. Furthermore, "Rocky III" succumbs to emotional-manipulation, cheesy dialogue, and formula. It's practically borderline-schlock at this point, but it's entertainment value really lies in Stallone's performance, your fondness for the characters, and the final fight. So, in conclusion, "Rocky III" is mildly entertaining at best, but a lightweight compared to the first two and I never want to hear Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger" ever again.
