Mike L (it) wrote: Even if it wasn't about how the Obamas first date this movie would be absolutely charming. I don't know if there has ever been a film wit the same background ever made. Excellent entertainment!

Dann M (ru) wrote: Atrocious garbage, Spawn is a poorly made B-horror film. After being betrayed and killed by his boss, black ops assassin Al Simmons makes a deal with the Devil Malebolgia to lead the legions of Hell in a war against Heaven in exchange for being allowed to return to the world and see his former wife. The acting is quite awful; particularly Martin Sheen and John Leguizamo, who really ham it up. However, the actors don't have much to work with; as the script is horrendously bad. Additionally, the sets look incredibly cheap and the special effects are cartoonish. One of the worst comic book films ever made, Spawn fails on every level.

Robert U (de) wrote: I haven't seen Pacific Rim, the source of this rip-off, but I did see Cloverfield, to which this has been compared. Let me tell you that's unfair. This movie makes Cloverfield look like King Lear!

Lauren A (kr) wrote: This movie was crazy and Val Kilmer was crazy. It really wasn't funny, but I laughed....I laughed a lot. Maybe it was the music. :)

Senor C (nl) wrote: Hammer horror that I had originally tried to watch years ago when they broadcasted it on the late great Drive-In Classics but didn't get that far into it & was kinda dismissive of. I couldn't have been more so wrong but I blame being over tired. Vampire Circus is a mild vampire gem that in all is actuality a lot better then a chunk of Hammer's Dracula movies. It has a fairly stylishly dark & bloody tone to it that made me smile in glee. A novel concept of a roving band of vampires who have returned to resurrect their master while striking fear & suspicion into the villagers who already believe their town is cursed. The climax feels a little rushed & could have used another 10-15 minutes getting out of the catacombs but there is more then enough for you to sink your teeth into especially for vampire fans..no not you sad Twilight mother-fuckers

Dave R (ru) wrote: how this ended up on my list of movies to watch i don't remember - maybe because i like michael caine... anyway, it's kind of a waste really. i guess it's meant to be humorous but a middle-aged man banging his best friend's teen daughter (who's friends with his own daughter) is a little too close to incest for me to find it all humorous.

Andrew U (ca) wrote: A clash of the titans, and unlike Alien vs. Predator, this one actually delivers what it promises - a satisfying showdown between horror's favorite serial killers.

bill s (gb) wrote: I love John Woo but boy was he the wrong director for this film.

Eduardo A (ag) wrote: Despite the excellent choice to dub Garfield by the great Bill Murray and some funny joke, the film does not take off. A flat script, full of clichs and without panache.
