Jovi J (ca) wrote: we watched this tonight at home with the kids. it was confusing for the 5 year old. I was constantly explaining the issue about fake and real. I think this is one of the weakest Disney animated movie I have seen. ending was okay, at least some redemption there. Mittens (I think) is the strongest character that added most value to the movie.

Andy P (it) wrote: From the opening scenes where we see Hackman's character drive through rural Indiana to get to the small town of Hickory... we realize that the film we are about to watch is, like all great sport movies, about more than just the game. "Hoosiers" while reliant on the tried and true formula of most sports films is able to capture a greater sense of community between the characters... which makes Hackman's performance all the more impressive. As an outsider he plays the part of our eyes into the lives of the people who live in Hickory, and as he slowly becomes member of the town we feel the same way. A truly triumphant film!

Christine D (fr) wrote: Not my style of movie at all. I knew Racheal was up for awards and thought lets give this a go. This was too long and drawn out and extremely dreary and depressing. The long pauses in between dialogue I was able to doze off in. Though it was a deep, meaningful storyline at the end of it all I felt like I just wanted to cry.
Mark N (jp) wrote: Excruciatingly poor even when you are prepared for TV budget effects and plot. sing the Species name to sell the movie is pretty shameful and shows how far a franchise can fall.
