A weak story and unlikeable characters quickly sink any chance of this movie experience being a memorable one. My Wife Is A Gangster gets points for style and comedy, but unfortunately, its a little lacking in the substance. Eun-Jin is the most masculine thing in this movie, and while that's a unique twist to the story; her performance can't match the expectations of the story so it quickly feels unbelievable and clich. Yeah, like that's realistic. Despite growing up with a heart of steel and without feeling, you would at least believe Big Brother, Eun-Jin, would know how to be a little feminine, however, the story would have you believe she lives under a rock completely unaware of any feminine presence around her. The fight scenes are decent and so is the script, but the story about a dying sister's wish to see her younger sister marry and have a kid is forced and completely unconvincing. I've seen many movies where one character has to be groomed from one extreme to the other, but turning a feared and cunning woman known to her associates as "Big Brother" into a tame, and malleable young wife is boring, shallow and underwhelming. My Wife Is A Gangster is funny in parts, but I didn't care for the story

Anyone on your naughty list should be forced to watch this execrable excuse for a movie

Love is just a feeling and perhaps you can only experiemce love by opening up to ones imagination, well shown and acted in this film. Watching it, I remember the like 'what is love', as Almodovar taps into the difference between reality and imagination

might be a good movie

/10. The film of this name, that I watched, is a low budget, poorly lit, profanity filled movie about a werewolf pack chasing after a sexy female werewolf who refuses to join them, some nudity in the film. I am not sure if this or the other ones with the same cover image are the film that I watched

Instead of just showing him spout uncomfortably clever and funny lines it focuses on how lost he really is. And i love how the movie turns and makes you actually deal with the reality of Roger. He's so convincing with this dialogue it's shocking. While the writing has alot to do with the success of Roger Dodger it's the performance by Campbell Scott that takes it to another level

Just turn your brain off before you dive into the fleshy orbs. Do yourself a favor and rent this one. The bad acting, the over acting, the cheesy dialog, the mountain of gratuitous nudity, the low-budget fake-looking gore, and an undeniable sense of fun and goofiness makes this a memorable, aptly titled movie. It is nice to see a movie that captures the fun of a Meyer picture, staying firmly in the land of schtick and schlock. I know, I am still trying to make sense of the whole thing. At one point, a naked zombie woman shows up. Like a meat loaf, except it is shaped like a woman. Also, the father is apparently trying to build women using ground meat. We often are allowed to see through the eyes of the creature, RaimiCam (tm) style. Odd things start to occur when a little creature begins running around the ranch causing problems. As well as having Carey on board, look for some quick shots of fellow adult film star Lucia. Some other ladies show up later to ensure lots of nudity from start to finish, including some random cut-aways to naked women dancing in the desert. The plot involves a college guy returning to his father's desert ranch, only to find that he has remarried a young, very hot blonde, played by the insurmountable Mary Carey. a great movie! Pervert with an exclamation point is a silly sex comedy with a little horror that takes us in all sorts of weird directions. . . WHAM. . . No wait. herpes. . . Then they dropped a big ass jug of Russ Meyer in there and WHAM. Someone decided it would be a good idea to take some Sam Raimi elements and mix them with some Troma stylings. Obviously, there are movie makers out there who are fans of Russ Meyer, as this Mary Carey vehicle has Meyer's stink all over it

The camera work may not do much to elevate the material but the freedom he gives his actors obviously puts a lot of emotion into their performances. This is from his period in the 80's of making films from plays that feel exactly like plays. A tense film from Altman exploring race and sexuality among soldiers about to leave for war

little dry, but overall well done
