A group of diverse individuals are suddenly taken from their homes and flown via helicopter to a futuristic bomb shelter in the desert, nearly two miles below the surface of the Earth. There they learn that a nuclear holocaust is taking place and that they've been "chosen" by computer to survive in the shelter in order to continue the human race. The shelter is designed to allow the people to exist underground comfortably for years, but they are faced with a threat nobody could have predicted: a colony of thousands of bloodthirsty vampire bats finds a way into the shelter and launches a series of vicious attacks where they claim the humans one by one.

Dutch V (mx) wrote: This is an interesting concept for a movie, it takes place all in real time. All of the shots are very long and I find it impressive not only at the length, but how it keeps it interesting. This movie isn't perfect by any means, but it is certainly entertaining. Aside from that it has some of the most creative insults on screen I have ever heard, it will certainly color up my vocabulary. It is a very strange gangster movie and the ending was slightly disappointing, but I had a fun time watching it. Check this one out.

Gabriel Z (br) wrote: This is an odd, cute little movie. A spy adventure without any adventure really. Not much really goes on, but it's nice enough. If you are bored, this will pass the time nicely.

MF J (de) wrote: Well let's say it as it is...timeline is a pretty bad film. The reconstitution of middle age France is quite poorly conceived, extras and background action lacking any real depth or even energy. everyone seem very slow to react and seems to wait for the first AD to shout action background. The main cast isn't better, most actors being very dull and saying their lines with very little convictions. Paul Walker is so out of place in this film, any second I expected him to tell his girlfriend...hey babe how about we go for a ride... The storyline could have been interesting but here it's clich and very predictable. Richard Donner is a good director but obviously the epic tales aren't his niche.
