(gb) wrote: Beautifully uplifting and devastating in equal measure. The acting is just brilliant. I'm not sure I'm strong enough to watch it again...
(it) wrote: After 15 minutes of horrible voice acting, that's all I could take. Watched no further.

(br) wrote: What I like about Gibney's documentaries is that they're never just about the subject at hand. He's extremely interested in human nature and why we act the way we do. In "Enron", the filmmaker really taps into the essence of evil and how weak human beings can be under the veil of shared responsibility. Most importantly, Gibney crafts a heavy-handed subject with superlative dexterity, which translates to all audiences.

(mx) wrote: A philosophical tale about 'the lust of the eyes'. After regaining his sight, the protagonist is overwhelmed, especially by the sight of a beautiful young woman. He is all ready to discard his old life which includes his wife and daughter. Yet after he has almost completely wrecked the life he had built, by a twist of fate, he loses his sight again. Interesting ending.

(nl) wrote: Its a very well executed film with incredible scenes and dialogue. You could really feel the despair of the main character. Fassbinder is a master director.
(gb) wrote: Wow. I can't believe only 35% of 'audience' want to see this?!! Great film and quite bleak. Modern 'War' films don't even come close.
(ag) wrote: An incredible film, with such a brilliant message and such a well thought out manner of portraying it that it deserves its place as one of the greatest films ever made.
(ag) wrote: Underworld: Directed by Len Wiseman, starring Kate Beckinsale, Scott Speedman, Michael Sheen, Shane Brolly, Kevin Grevioux and Bill Nighy. For centuries a war has been ongoing between Vampire and Werewolve clans, a young Vampire Warror named Selene falls in love with Michael a human who is being sought by Werewolves for a unknown reason. Don't be fooled by the plot summary, this isn't Twilight, it's a dark, action packed thriller that will keep you entertained from beginning to end. The cast is great and it's great to look at.
