It may only be 50+ minutes, but the plot details fill it up without fail. The tech portion of the story is a tad overwhelming, but the setting and atmosphere are intriguing in their own right. The animation is visually amusing as expected and the action pops up at opportune times.Maaya Sakamoto fronts a cast that delivers voices to match their respective characters. No complaints here.Ghost in the Shell Arise - Border 2: Ghost Whisper is a prime example of a science fiction crime thriller animation.

Even the modus operandi of the Americans to nab Laden [which, frankly, could've turned the film serious] is so juvenile and crazy that you can't help but smile at the sequence of events.

Jamie J (us) wrote: It's surprising what you can do with a steam train and a few veteran actors, rather entertaining for an old WWII flick. The movie does seem to end rather abruptly though. For all the talk of good special effects though, there seems to be very little actual...blood. In such a massive gun fight at the end, you would expect at least a touch, even in family friendly tale. Perhaps though that is my modern self thoroughly desensitised to voilence?
