(us) wrote: Absolutely ridiculous torture slasher film. The plot is out of its mind, and there is no real hero in the film, just victims who get spared. WWE's 2nd outing on the slasher horror genre is so convoluted and awkward, that they almost promotion'a immediately killed off the promotion's promotion's only wrestling actor in the film. At first, the film is pretty boring, but when it picks up it is a glued to your seat type of film.
(nl) wrote: Has a decent cast, but a overused plot. There's so many movies were guys go and hunt down the killer of their friend or someone they loved, it's become a kids sub-genre of movies. This is like most of the rest, although it has four adopted brothers. Of course they think the cops are useless, and of course the detectives are corrupt, so they go around town threatening to kill people for information. The real world dosent work like that anymore, you can't do what they do and get away with it. People are killed, severly hurt, and the police don't come after tge guys who did it. The story is ok, not original, with its share of expected and unexpected events. The action seems rushed, with poor effects, gun sounds and flashes. The acting is good, but by no means the best preformances by any of the actors. The movie got off a little too quick in my opinion, with the execution happening in the first scene, so we never get to know Ma, and I think it would have been better had we got to know and love her before her tragic death. Some characters weren't likeable or needed to be there and at times it was confusing to why something was happening. So the movie wasn't bad, it was just on par with most others like it, and could have been much better.

(ag) wrote: When bad scripts happen to good people. It has a really good cast, and director John Dahl's previous two films were superior film noirs (Red Rock West, The Last Seduction). Alas, they cannot save this very average whodunit/sci-if mash up. If this was a 1950s film starting Vincent Price, it might have worked.
(ru) wrote: As good as a sequel to the horrific Cyborg could be...but it benefits from Jack Palance's disembodied voice guiding the characters.

(nl) wrote: A film that seems dated now, but a truly spectacular achievement for 1950. The film fully understands space travel and correctly envisions the surface of the moon. This film doesn't even seem like science fiction to today's viewer because nothing unrealistic occurs in it. There are no moon men, outrageous forms of space travel, etc. The most bizarre part of the film has to be the five minute long Woody Woodpecker cartoon created by the scientists and financeers behind the moon project. The Woody cartoon explains space travel and acts as an advertisement to sell other investors on the project. Worth checking out for those who are interested in the history of science fiction, but it may not be for everyone.

(au) wrote: This was a solid sequel. The animation, story, and voice acting was good, but the biggest problems were there were a few moments of ridiculousness and this is the first Ice Age film to not be directed by Carlos Saldanha. There were a few moments that were good, like the Scrat scenes, the fight at the end, and it had funny moments here and there.I will say that this is another watchable sequel.
