Panta O (jp) wrote: Not many movies can have food as their main subject, and bad habits is all about food! Yes, there is rains too... that aren't enough to wash away the sins of overeating and under-eating... Well executed movie, precise, well-cast debut from director Simon Bross. A lot of irony with well balanced humour mixed with different attitudes toward indulgence and deprivation. Watch it...

I also thought Banderas was lost here from Desperado and came here to fight Stallone. And that's Julianne Moore and not Salma Hayek OK!

Cade H (us) wrote: Brick had some interesting moments and it was a unique film that paid homage to classic noir films. The plot followed a high school kid played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt who was trying to find the murderer of his x-girlfriend. He went undercover into a local gang type group and worked with his friend to solve the mystery. The dialogue was very witty and its style was very poetic almost, you'll just have to hear it to understand. It was a little slow at times and a bit weird but the performance by JGL was great so it was hard to lose interest. The conclusion wasn't that amazing but it was exciting and was a bit of shocker. Brick is definitely one of those artistic films that strays from the main stream and will not be everyones cup of tea. The acting was good, the mystery was fun to follow but the film as a whole did not add up to be a great one.

David S (kr) wrote: Margin Call is a good business thriller. It keeps tension high with peoples jobs on the line and the future of a company in jeopardy. The performances are all top notch across the board. Jeremy Irons steals the show with his cold, demeanor. Kevin Spacey is good as always and Paul Bettany is great as well. Unfortunately the subject matter just doesn't grasp me and keep me interested. It reminded me of the Big Short, its just really hard for me to stay interested. Still a solid watch.

Nat A (us) wrote: An in-depth film/documentary about the fascinating and perplexing impact of Marley's music and iconic persona. His life and and his following still leave vibrations on today's society that are incalculable. It was dissected thoroughly and thoughtfully enough to solidify this documentary well.

Carlos M (fr) wrote: It may be conventional and formulaic with nearly all film clichs that Kendrick's character disdains so much (and not with the originality of the likes of The Breakfast Club), but maybe that is the point after all: to work as a solid predictable comedy. And it does so well.
