Clash of the Empires torrent reviews

Adrian L (ru) wrote: Dazzling martial arts and sword fighting overshadow the weak narrative from revenge against a brother to a western style wrestling match which is used to redeem the central characters loss of his wife, it just didn't need to. So forget the plot and revel in the skills on show.

Hugh J (fr) wrote: So disappointing compared to 'Bender's Big Score'. I guess I was expecting a continuation of the first movie's storyline but that gets wrapped up within the first 10 minutes or so. Then the less interesting story begins with David Cross going out with everyone on Earth. I still laughed a few times but I just couldn't get into the story. I mean, it's still worth a shot if you're a fan of the show but it's nowhere near the series' best.

Tino P (es) wrote: Close's combination of Norma Desmond and the Bride of Frankenstein will delight adults as much as the kids will be amused by the high jinks of the adorable puppies.

Rebecca H (nl) wrote: A film that always makes me feel terribly lowbrow because I find it so very, very, very boring. Nearly all biopics destroy the image of the man they are projecting. Why is that? The overriding impression I gained from this film is how children often adulate the absent parent, rather than the poor one left struggling to bring them up. While Wilde's neglect of his wife is understandable, not so is the neglect of his children. Wilde's fairy tale The Selfish Giant is irritatingly overused, and unsurprisingly, the film is extremely wordy. The characters don't engage and it's hard to care about Wilde himself. This film failed on me. In fact, I was so desperately bored that I switched channels and watched a brainless action flick instead. I felt terribly ashamed of my lowbrow, but at least I had a fun evening.

Johnny L (us) wrote: Ari got me to watch one of her favorites, and while I thought it was hard to watch, I think there are a couple morsals of comedy in there. And daaaamn Tia looking hella good. -11/13/15

Shane D (ag) wrote: Not sure whether this fits firmly enough in the category of Blaxploitation or not. Firstly, its star is Quinn a white actor and not Kotto so it doesn't exactly follow tradition. However it does have an impressive score featuring songs from soul singer Bobby Womack. Thirdly, whilst it has the clothes, the guns and the cars, it doesn't have the boobs...so I'm really not sure what to think. Overall though, its gritty and interesting but just not as cool as it could have been, say if it were John Shaft calling the shots.

Tim S (nl) wrote: Caught this on TMC the other night, and was really loved it. A very funny western spoof with a lot of heart.

007 W (jp) wrote: I'm not the biggest fan of it but I will say that this is a really great movie, it's such a well made movie, its original, and it's creative

Greg N (gb) wrote: The strange parallels and references to Fargo's story made this interesting, but didn't really make it a good movie.

Russ V (de) wrote: Revenge of the Green Dragons more or less is trying to be Goodfellas but with a Chinese gang, but the movie is too frustrating to watch thanks to such unlikeable characters to even be a decent rip-off.

Jay L (es) wrote: A must see for any adventure enthusiast. Features a who's who of extreme sports pushing the limits of human ability. We were gasping aloud, "ohhh no", everyone was at the edge of their seats. The search unfolds in the voice of these soulful characters we have looked up to and admired for years. It gives you that same blissful feeling when the wind is up, the waves are right, the powder is deep or the trails are blazing. The footage is beautifully shot. The soundtrack featured artists I know and love. It's just plain fun. See it, you won't be disappointed!!!

Kiseon P (br) wrote: It has the fanboyisms of The Avengers, and the thought provoking story from The Winter Soldier, Captain America Civil War delivers one of the best superhero movies of all time.
