Class of 1999 torrent reviews

Mario L (ca) wrote: A diamond in the rough...the constant edge of your seat scares and final plot twist is not what one would expect from this flick based on the opening five minutes or so but definitely much enjoyed!

Jack K (kr) wrote: A loving tribute to Kazan, and especially powerful because of Scorsese's close, personal connection to the pictures, if not the man.

Ian M (gb) wrote: Maggie is a great actress. Definitely wanna check this out!!

Christopher K (ru) wrote: this was actually a pretty well acted movie, some parts are iffy, but overall it was an interesting movie to see what was really going on... but I ended up guessing some of the story anyway...

Cal V (jp) wrote: A movie that's pretty to look at and that's it because it's completely unoriginal and HORRIBLY written.

Sheryl H (au) wrote: Fantastic thriller. Best film I've seen in a while!

Naomi M (br) wrote: Isa: I'd like to see you when you realize that you need other people.Marie: I'll send you a photo. An exceptional film for so many reasons - standout lead performances, (female!) existentialism, real-life moral complexity, being definitive French New Wave, and an incredible number of cigarettes.

Charles H (jp) wrote: Aside from some classic Japanese vs. Chinese moments, there wasn't much to this one. Jet Li does his best with comic timing, but he is completely upstaged by the inimitable Eric Tsang. Simon Yam is his usual, smarmy self.

Michael W (es) wrote: It takes too long to get going. The beginning becomes increasingly tedious until about 20 minutes in when the story actually starts, and then after all that waiting you find out the movie you were waiting for is stupid. So dumb I bailed half way in to fast forward tot he last 15 minutes, and without giving anything away, let's just say that it was sufficient to confirm that the entire movie was dumb, not just the first half.

Justin B (us) wrote: I love this movie, I wish I had it

p b (br) wrote: What ever The King Bruce Campbell is in - I have to see. :) This has a few memorable moments...but that's about it.

jack m (ca) wrote: The Englishness of it all was terrific!!!

Sean C (ru) wrote: This is part of a dead breed of film, a lavish historical drama. Unlike other ones this film has heart, astounding cinematography, and creates a world that is lost but not overly romanticized. It is a tale of a strong woman who tries to love one unavailable man only to fall in love with another such soul. Contemporaries have been too hard on this one. I am almost compelled to wage a long campaign in its defense.
