(it) wrote: Rachael Leigh Cook plays a bride-to-be who confesses her sexual fantasies to a carpenter (Kenny Doughty) who happened to be on the other side of the confessional at the time. To get into her pants, he pretends to priest. Man did I hate this movie. There is nothing to like about Kenny Doughty's character. When he finally sleeps with her, the day before she's about to get married, she's drunk. But, of course he loves her and spends the rest of the movie trying to do everything to ruin the upcoming marriage. Garbage. The jokes in this are ones they use on sitcoms that would get cancelled in the middle of it's first season. Don't waste your time.

(kr) wrote: Yeah, Problem Child 2 is not a great movie by any means. To be honest, I found this movie really funny and entertaining. How can you not like a five minute scene of people at a carnival projectile barfing everywhere? Not sure if it's the fact that I watched Problem Child 2 as a kid a whole lot of times, or that this film is a guilty pleasure. Probably a mixture of both. If you haven't seen it and you are looking for something ridiculous starring John Ritter, rent this movie. If this is a childhood favorite, check it out again.
(kr) wrote: This movie was far before its time. Natalie Wood did an AMAZING job in this film. She makes you feel the pain of the character in the story so clearly. Anyone who has lost someone they would completely give up everything for and did not work out for some reason, will definitely love this movie.

(kr) wrote: A divorcee and a doctor vie for the affections of a young businessman.John Schlesinger's British character study is a slow-moving, complex story of human relationships and sexuality. It's a film that i should like, but I found myself waiting for a central conflict to emerge. Everything remained under the surface, in classically British subtext. The performances are all nuanced and strong, especially Glenda Jackson and Peter Finch who play overly cerebral characters; their best work is in silence, when they're thinking, processing, scheming.Overall, I wish I could say that I enjoyed this film more, but it failed to grab me.
