(de) wrote: An absolute horrible movie it has no redeeming qualities not scary, moronic, and just plain stupid. These girls must die for their horrible acting, insipid whining, and having no redeeming qualities. The only goal the characters have in this movie is to strip nude in dumb cheesecake shots that are not that great as they are not that attractive or likeable. Please skip this film or risk shouting at your television like i did.

(es) wrote: Not well written or directed. I however am often taken in with obscure war stories based in exotic locations such as this in Burma. It has some good moments as well with a great cast. Mcqueens driving stunts always seem to be snuck in. Then to have dean, Bronson, Henreid and Gina to support Sinatra is just great. Gina was exotic and beautiful.

Uma Thurman is well cast as Murray'd thank you gift to De Niro. Murray is good but doesn't play a character different to the one he usually plays. Some parts are funny, some have a distinct dark feel. Yet, altogether, it doesn't sum up to a coherent picture.
