Phillip D (au) wrote: I'm not sure what got people so riled about this movie. It isn't the greatest production ever but it highlights a really fascinating topic in a well executed way, using an excellent cast to help the audience explore the world of a geisha. Overall this was a really engaging and fascinating production.

Ernst M (mx) wrote: An interesting film this dives the viewer into the uneasiness of how to handle a post-apartheid South Africa.

Anthony N (it) wrote: Thomas the Tank Engine was my childhood, I remembered seeing this in theaters when I was 6 years old. The story plot is a little confusing. But the rest of the film was ok, I really love the background music, the voice acting wasn't that bad either, I even I liked Edward Glen's voice for Thomas. Alec Baldwin's acting in the film wasn't that bad too. This film was so-so ok in my opinion. I just wish the plot was a little better so everyone can understand it better.

Nicola W (mx) wrote: Better than I remembered when I watched this originally. Naughty kid wrecks everything, wasn't exactly funny. Imagine really having a kid like that, no thanks

So he created a bizarre symbol and chose that as his name. Perhaps I need to create some bizare symbol of my own to describe how truly awful "Under the Cherry Moon" is. On the other hand, let's try this..."Under the Cherry Moon" plays on a dobule bill with "Battlefield Earth" in Hell.

Allan C (us) wrote: Hilariously awful tale about a rubber suited humanoid octopus terrorizing a group of scientists out in the dessert. This is really a zero-star film, but I did get two-and-a-half stars worth of ironic enjoyment out of the film. Pier Angeli does some serious slumming for her final film appearance, She died of a drug overdose during filming.

Brian A (ru) wrote: Don't get in between a man and his car! John Carpenter's influence turns this seemingly jalopy of a storyline into a feature on Car And Driver.

Ashley H (ca) wrote: Bend of the River is a good western by Anthony Mann. Jimmy Stewart gives an excellent performance and so does Arthur Kennedy. The script is also amazing and simple to follow. Bend of the River is a must see if you are a fan of westerns.
