(ag) wrote: A gritty, tough, stylish and exhilerating crime-thriller. Taunt, original and mind-blowing. Brendan Fraseier gives an explosive performance, like nothing you ever seen him before.

*^ you, and, oh! did I meant to say ,%+* you?! Your allot better off watching Robin Hood: Men in Tights than this!

(br) wrote: I was expecting a Boondock Saints type knock-off but this movie is quite a bit lighter and funnier...but without the badass dance scene with Willem Defoe. Not a lot to say. I couldn't understand what they were saying because the accent is so think. I usually watch with captions/subtitles anyway but absolutely
(gb) wrote: I was very excited when I found out that Jack Nicholson and Meryl Streep were in the same movie. Might I say neither of them disappoint one bit. Nicholson gives a haunting/Sad/Deep performance, while Streep displays alot of pain in her that you almost can't look at her. Yet, the brilliant acting doesn't save this very sad story with little to zero upbeat moments.

(gb) wrote: "If you want to see a star, look at me"; Zarah Leander said. If you want to see a diva, watch Tonight or Never, I say. This is one of Gloria Swanson's few movies with sound. Here she plays a celebrated opera singing bird, who starts to lose her gleam as she is getting bored with her life. Perhaps love to a certain gent may help her to gain her sparkle again. That certain gent is played by the great Melvyn Douglas. The story is pretty thin. It's not a bad movie, but don't expect any Sunset Boulevard. This is mainly for Swanson-fans.

(fr) wrote: I'm a big Jimmy Stewart fan, but this movie's plot is all disconnected and strange.
(fr) wrote: What an awful movie. The highlights are definitely the bits with Fred and Ginger. I was sort of hoping that Dolores Del Rio would throw over both that tool Gene Raymond and Raul Roulien and go with Fred instead. Also, it was horribly politically incorrect. And I'm pretty sure Julio is pronounced "hulio," not with an actual J. It drove me insane, actually.
(us) wrote: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets' overlong runtime makes this a rather exhausting sit-through but a slightly darker tone, captivating performances and story as entertaining as its stunning visual effects allow this movie to remain another entertaining entry in the Harry Potter film series.
(it) wrote: Undeniably funny, and a good action movie.
(jp) wrote: You have got to be kidding me! This is one of the GREAT PATRIOTIC movies of our times and to think I almost did not watch it because of your inept rating process which allows a movie like this ti rate in the 50's and 60's? Do yourselves a favor and turn it on as quickly as you can and you will be writing the next rave review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
