ANDERSON G (kr) wrote: "500 Days of Summer" is a movie that runs the basic novel clich, the film tells the story of Tom Hansen (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) who falls madly beautiful beautiful Summer Finn (Zooey Deschanel), they spend 500 days together, but then she simply exchange with a non-linear narrative and a good script, it surprises for their doses of humor and high drama, mixed with good performances, choreographed dances and cool soundtrack, the film surprises as touches a point which many have passed, and it is very easy to identify with the movie and buy the suffering by Tom, the film itself warns us at the beginning that this is not a novel, but it's easy to cheer for the couple, then get angry with Summer, but then we understand their motives and morals that the film wants to spend. It's always nice to watch a romance that runs away from the clich.

Another driller killer on the loose (even though he does use some other weapons from time to time including a vibrator in the bathtub) seems to lose its luster by the times the 90s hit but I'll admit I sorta liked this when I first saw it back it the day but to my defense I was smashed out of my mind. @ least there are some scenes of the girls doing strip teases for each other just like I know that goes on @ every slumber party..all I need is some topless pillow fights & everything will be alright
