Kyle C (ag) wrote: Wow, that was a lot of bikes. This movie has a silly premise, Joseph Gordon Levitt on a bike for 90 minutes, but you know what, it works, and why, because he is a good enough actor to make it work and the filmmakers shot this just right where it made the experience more enjoyable. The other thing I must mention is that Michael Shannon (the Villain, I suppose if there is one) is now going to be referred to as Ray Liotta's twin brother that went missing after birth because my god, his mannerisms, his look and his craziness are all identical to Ray Liotta, now I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing. It's silly premise keeps it from being good, but it is very watchable which is always good. RECOMMENDED slightly.

Ian B (ru) wrote: A pretty funny british "mockumentary" done in the style of Waiting for Guffman and Best in Show. It started off really strong and features some hilarious performances (especially by Martin Freeman from The Office and Jessica Stevenson from Spaced), but sadly it drags a little too much in the middle and the funny bits dry up towards the end. Still, it's a movie worth seeing if your a fan of british comedy.

Robbie N (nl) wrote: A funny enough movie, Jim Carrey plays his role as the incredibly laughable character, but after one half of quite humorous scenes and lines, Bruce Almighty just falls flat with an ending that was not only dull, but unnecessary and wasteful...

Barney o (gb) wrote: WHAT I LIKED: The Mission: Impossible formula is born, and it's one that largely works. Get a super, over-complicated plot, then get Ethan and his team to crack the mission before the ticking clock stops. It's a pretty simple idea each time around, but it is a fun formula to watch thanks to some awesome action, crazy stunts, tense moments, and the occasional emotional beat.WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE: This formula has it's cons too. Prinipally, the plot is always extremely over-complicated, and in this one that's an issue to the point where it all feels like a badly connected group of albeit great scenes.VERDICT: 'Mission: Impossible' begins... and it's pretty enjoyable. Sadly, this is nothing more than that.
